Go For The Meatballs!. As we passed by my friend and I agreed that we should get a drink here after dinner. It looks like a burlesquey bar out front, with red lighting, red striped couches and visual decadence. But then we noticed their menu and decided to dine and drink simultaneously. The meatball appetizer with polenta was incredible. They have really good mussels too and throw in diced tomatoes along with garlic bread - It was like a seafood bruschetta. The servings are pretty big too (as a nearby patron warned us) so we shared the lobster ravioli. AMAZING!!! The service was wonderful and our glasses were never empty. We definitely plan on returning.
Delicious Food !!!!.
The Staff & Manager were fantastic.....AND THE CHEF!
Shrimp Fr Diablo was amazing...... my only negative experience at Re Sette was they did not had my reservation the waiter was very helpful and seat me down righ away .......Thank you for a great experience.
Good Times Sq Experience. My family and I were looking for a late dinner around 9pm and stumbled across this place near times square. The fig "Del Re" pizza was delicious and tangy (unusually pleasing) and the boccinoni (not sure on spelling, but cheese with prosciutto for appetizer) was delicious. The wine selection was alright, we ended up with a spanish red which accompanied the food nicely. To boot, we were promptly seated and the service was attentive. All in all, easily in the top 3 dining experiences i've ever had in times square.
Best Party Room. The Evening was enjoyed by all. The food and the decor were perfect. The service we received from all was wonderfull.Everyone complimented me on Selecting Re Sette.I certainly could not hve done this withouth your help and the professionalism shown by the manager and your staff
Apple Raviolli??? YES!. Had dinner here with my hubby recently - I was really surprised at how good it was. I went with the waiter's reccomendation of apple raviolli in a meat sauce - which I would never usually order, but I felt like a risk taker that night - and it was surprisingly good! Really good! The surprises started with lamb meatballs - again, lamb usually isn't my thing. It was great! I wish they offered that over a plate of pasta. The service was good - attentive, but not overbearing. We were able to enjoy our meal without feeling rushed, and hung around finishing our bottle of wine (I love the way they pour a little at a time - it makes you savor it!). We ended with the tiramisu, which was slightly better than what you'd usually get at an Italian restaurant. I would definitely go back, and would suggest it to anyone looking for solid Italian in midtown.
Editorial Review. An Italian bistro and bar offering a fresh take on traditional dishes in a setting inspired by medieval merchants.
Great Time. I just have last night a great Party .Everything was PERFECT.Everyone raved about the food and the service, they didn't want to leave. They make my Party such a pleasurable event.
you feel like home. The best time of my life the food absolutly excellent my favor dished is the Boccocini & mussels and as a main course the lobster with pasta & Filet mignon is was great. The whole staff is was great from the managers to all the served .
Bad food - nice ambience. If you want to impress your date by romantic ambience this is the place for you....just dont eat anything!!! The pasta my date had was tough and inedible and my filet mignon was tender yet tasteless. Service was ok and so was the scenery, but really really bad food.
Martha's Vineyard Loves RESETTE. My husband and I went to ReSette while visitng the city withour Daughter on Sept. 25th, 2004...it was her first time in the city...she is 5 years old. SHE in fact picked the restaurant! This 5 year old was not only attracted to this restaurant immediately by the beautiful tapestry covered seating in the open to the street restaurant front as much as we were...but was treated (and acted) like a lady...the enitre experience was amazing... this incredible restaurant is perfect for the Romantic dinner and the discerning child's tastes as well... ;)
