This place is trash! I went there for
Mya's bday party and she never showed up.
When I went out to smoke a cigarette at 3:30 they refused me the entrance saying all exits were finals after my people bought 7 bottles.
If you don't want to be disrespected and treated badly after you spend thousands of dollars don't go there!

I wouldn't go to this place. They advertised a special on this site for Friday: 2 for 1 10pm-12pm. I was planning on going there tonight for my birthday with a large party. We will not be going there now because they are not honoring something that was posted. Then they lied and said they have a huge party tonight when I know this is not true because I called earlier in the week about a reservation. Bad business decision on the Managers part!

Taj is one of the hottest spots in the city. The decor was very unique and elegant, the staff attentive and music was great. I enjoyed the appetizers and drinks are exotic. Would recommend this spot to anyone lookin for a night out, real sexy crowd also impressive for first dates

Hosted a birthday party on the
mezzanine level with about 25 guests. Everything went as expected. We brought our own cupcakes and cake, they provided the bottles and hors d'oeuvres. Sure there is a cake cutting fee (to be expected in NYC), but they did cut the cake quite well. The music this evening was pretty good. Some 90's hip-hop/reggae mixed in with some contemporary beats kept us dancing, bumping and if you're too cool, head nodding.
Our server, the lovely Dee Dee, was great to work with. Despite a longer than expected start on the initial wave of hors d'oeuvres, she kept up with the drink orders, kept us tipsy and seemed pleasant throughout. Patrycja, the hostess, was very pleasant to deal with as well. After a minor hookah mishap, things kept right on rolling and we were comped with another, no problems.
I would definitely come back as a civilian (not as the party host) so I could get as hammered as my guests were that evening!

Dinner to Clubbin'.
Came here last weekend for my girlfriends graduation celebration…The food was pretty good, the service-not bad either...
We had a good table that was comfortable for our large party. We went later in the evening knowing that it turns into a club. Our folks were in for a surprise because they weren’t prepared for the restaurant to go full scale club toward the end of our late dinner (10:15pm or so).
My gf and our friends partied till the early morning. Good times.

TAJ IS MORE THEN A PLACE TO PARTY! CHRIS IS THE MAN HANDS DOWN! THE MUSIC IS ALWAYS ON POINT, THE BAR STAFF IS COOL! OVERALL THIS IS THE PLACE TO GO! ITS GOOD TO PARTY WITH THE GROWN AND SEXY! NO DRAMA JUST A PLACE ABOVE THE REST!

Great Place to Take friends you known for a well. Pricey drinks. The food is good. So good I took my personal trainer, Lopez from midtown personal trainers with me.

Great dining experience!!. Recently went here the other day with some friends for a night out on with some friends and had the Madras Jerk lamb chop which was AMAZING i also tried the spiced wings which were also pretty good.

NBC Event at Taj Lounge. Storm PR Agency & I recently organized an event for NBC's new reality show "The Great American Health Challenge NYC" and I decided to contact Taj Lounge via my A good friend. I always loved Taj Lounge but I never hosted and event there. I must say, I am glad I chose this venue. They ambiance is incredible. Their Asian inspired decor sets the mood just right. When you walk in it is obvious that the staff loves the venue just as much as the people they tend to daily. The management was very attentive and made sure that every detail of my plan was executed precisely. I have coordinated and hosted many events and this was by far the best event to date. Taj lounge was even gracious enough to help me find a liquor sponsor for my event. It doesn't get much better than that. If you are looking to make a good impression and have a successful event at a classy manhattan lounge...... I would definitely suggest working with Taj lounge. awwwimmamonster. Wat a great spot to party at. the music was good, the appetizers were tasty especially the taj spice wings, my friends n i ordered drinks n they were all mixed very well, the bouncers let us stand on the couches unlike other places in the city. lets just save wen the nght was ova i did get home safely. :) cant wait to go back next thursday
