It was my sons birthday and we wanted to go some place different. The service was great. Food was fantastic. The lamb was the best I ever had. I will definitely return.

Best Turkish food/ Best Lunch Deal

My wife and I are from the west coast and fell in love with the food ever since we first went there early this year. We especially love their lunch special and visit this little gem about twice a month.

The lentil soup is out of this world. Our favourite appetizers are the Patlichan Soslu (grilled eggplant) and the Dolma (stuffed grape leaves). The best entree is definitely the Doner Kebab but we've tried the others and they're all top notch. Their entrees are served with rice,Bulgar and Turkish pita bread (which is more like a bread and superb. They buy it from the Taskin bakery)

The lunch special includes a soup/salad + appetizer + entree + drink/coffee. They recently raised the price to $11.99 from $9.99 but even that is a steal.

We (2 ppl) came with no reservations and were seated promptly; there's seating upstairs & downstairs. The menu offered a nice variety. I couldn't decide which entree to get & luckily for me, the restaurant allowed combos -- I had the minced chicken & lamb skewers & my boyfriend ate the chicken & lamb kebabs. The minced skewers were really flavorful, & the kebabs were juicy & tasty. We finished the meal with the baklava & kazandibi (a light milk pudding served chilled) -- both very yummy! The waitstaff were very attentive. All in all, a delectable experience! I look forward to dining at Toros again soon.
