“The location is so cute, and the sweet little crepe cafe is perfect.”
“For a casual meal and a delicious dessert, this is your place!”
“To top off the night, get a nutella and banana crepe and a cup of the delicious coffee.”
“Still a great meal, still a great value.”
“The restaurant also carries savory crêpes as well as light meals, like The Cubano (a hot pressed sandwich made with black forest ham, chicken, and Jarlsberg cheese), Imported Sopressata & Mozzarella Salad, and a variety of soups made daily.”
“great place to go on a first date if your priorities are good food and atmosphere over impressive wallet bulges, the c rook ed tree (spelled this way to get past the citysearch inappropriate word list) is a staple in east side character.”
“Not only did we have a great group dinner, but everyone vowed to return.”
“Staff is really nice, service is good.”
“If you are a plain jane and like lemons-- try the lemon crepe (at a great price of $4) it has a great tangy taste which doesn't over power the taste of the crepe.”
Best crepes in NYC!. You've gotta try the dessert crepes. If you are a plain jane and like lemons-- try the lemon crepe (at a great price of $4) it has a great tangy taste which doesn't over power the taste of the crepe. Also, for all of you caramel lover out there- the carmalized apple crepe is for you! With it's sweet, hearty taste, it is delightful for all!
A Great dessert stop!. We stopped here after eating at Cafe Mogador right on the same block...also delicious. We ordered two crepes; the belgian chocolate with banana and our friends got dulce de leche. Both were absolutely delicious. Quaint little eatery and the rest of the menu looked good from what we saw on the plates of others. Staff was nice and a funky soundtrack played continuiusly in the background.
crepes that will make you love being alive.
the best crepes. cnooked (<--- i tried to write the name there but citysearch deemed it an inappropirate workd) tree has mastered their crepe filling concoctions and will leave you wondering why you do not have a personal french chef in your apt trying to replicate the crepes every morning. savory or sweet, hands down the best....you'll learn to chew slowly and savor every bite.
also the chef is stormy and adds to the ambiance.
Best Crepes in NYC!.
I've been going to there for years...actually 7 years, since I first came to NY! I fell in love with this place...such a cool vibe... and the crepes are just so delicious!
I love going there by myself or with my friends... it's a great hang out spot!
Staff is really nice, service is good... i definitely recommand this place, I always have a great time over there... :-)
awsome creperie. my favorite desert spot in the city, period. would definitely recomend for first dates, especially if you're trying to impress the wiiiiiiiiife:) very niiiiiiiice!!!
Best everything!. The crepes are tasty as hell. Especially the banana chocolate strawberry. They flambe it for you. The service there is awesome, always making sure that you're ok, but not in a pushy annoying way. And if you love carribian/ spanish music (salsa!) this place is is for you. Please excuse the spelling, I'm not checking.
yummy. the crepes are delicious, atmoshere is chill - worth taking a 2 hour lunch as I will go out of my way to get down there.
Sweetest crew in the area. This place is run by a group of old friends who truly love each other and this little spot on the end of saint mark's. It shows in the tasty food, the service, the presentation. These guys deserve support for keeping it real, keeping some little stretches of saint marks old-school....
a great birthday. My friends took me here for my birthday dinner the other night. I had an amazing dinner, and my dessert crepes were so good. The location is so cute, and the sweet little crepe cafe is perfect. They had lots of different wines for us, and I tasted a few. I believe this will be a new regular spot for me.
