Juicy moules frites and a succulent hamburger keep this French brasserie booming.

NYC Delight. Came here with my brother after work. French onion was exactly what I was looking for and the steak au poivre with green peppercorn sauce was very tasty. Reasonably priced!

TERRIBLE SERVICE. Hello! My name is Ekaterina, i use to come in your restaurant couple times before and i liked it. I'm pregnant right now and today(05/23/2010) i was feeling that i extremly want some good cheese and i decide to go to your place.

I went with my friend and it was terrible. My waiter was Cris, later another waiter told me that it was his birthday, but anyway Cris was very rud, unrespectable.

At first when we sit down he just drop menus on a table. Than when he took order, he did wrong , finaly when i ask about more hot water for my tea he bring a pot and drop it on a table and his face was like i was asking him about something unusual, after this he just bring a check, but we was still thinking about deserts.

After we told him that we not ready yet he start screaming and yelling on us that he need money right now, because he need to go home. And than he start pushing a table on me, and spilt hot water on my legs. When we asked him to call a manager he took everything from the table, but we not finished yet. Manager came and said that he sorry, and did't finished listening us turn around and left.

we spend 1 hour in the restaurant, it was sunday about 8 to 9 pm. Food was exelent but service the worst we ever had.

Best Place to eat in NYC. Just returned from 5-day vacaiton in New York City. Stayed at Sheraton Manhattan and found this great little restaurant, by accident. So good that we kept going back especially after trying a couple of other NYC famous places that could not compare in terms of quality, price and level of service. Forget Lindy's, Stage Door and Carnegie Delis - outdated and overpriced - not to mention rude service when we attempted Lindy's.

Maison Brasserie offers varied menu. Best breakfast is crepes with ham and gruyere cheese. If you have a large group, you may also wan to try the continental basket of goodies - too much for one. Oh what the heck - try it no matter how many in your party. it's too good to pass up.

Best dinner - difficult to decide but suggest the Crisp Duck Comfit which is personal favorite and may be the signature dish. However, mushroom ravioli and braised lamb shank were also big hits.

Service is fun but impeccable. There is no rushing here even though place is small - holds about 65 patrons.

Would recommend reservations but not necessary - a wait at thr bar ensures affable conversation and a chance to review the menu.

Almost hesitate to write this review for fear that too many will discover this treasure and there won't be room for us the next time we visit New York City. But, that would be unfair to Brasserie Maison and to other visitors who, like us, may be looking for a great place to dine at an affordable price. Wish we could export this little gem to Northern California.

Bon appetit!

Best Outdoor Space for a Bite in Midtown. Take a step out of a bustling midtown and find yourself in a refined, delish French restaurant. Atop the hustle and bustle of Times Square sits one of my favorite places in NYC. The amount of outdoor space in the middle of one of the busiest cities in the world is nothing less than extraordinary. Our food was delicious and the service; friendly and energetic. This restaurant is a true example of a wonderful NYC dining experience.

A great breakfast. Stayed in NY for 10 days business/pleasure and visited this place for breakfast a couple of days into the trip. After visiting Stage Deli which was somewhat overpriced, we tried here to compare. Excellent breakfast and superb service. We had breakfast at Maison every morning from then and they never missed a beat. On St Patrick's day it was a peaceful haven away from the jammed bars though comfortably busy. Had an excellent lunch. Dropped in there on the way back from a show before going back to the hotel and had snacks and drinks (open 24 hours). Will visit here every time we are in NY.

Great Great Great !!!. Took the family to see the lighting of the Tree this year.

We were walking around and stumbled on this busy midtown brasserie. The service was excellent and the food was delicious. I will definitely be going back.

Keep up the good work!!!

Not a Good Place For DIET!!. I went to the Brasserie Maison this past weekend for brunch. I felt slightly underdressed, but the staff was super nice and didn't make me feel uncomfortable at all. The food was great - rich, but great. Not a good place for a diet! I would definitely want to go there for dinner and drinks!

This spot in town is ... awesome. I got into town Friday a little late (10pm) and had to find a place to eat... now I know why NY is such a great city. This spot was awesome. Outstanding service, not bad food and side walk tabels let you know youare in NYC, but none of the trouble with a hot restaurant. Special thanks to the my CLASSY European waiter CHRIS ... Highly recommended...

Horrible Horrible service. We chose this place for our last breakfast in NY, coronating a wonderful week of our first time in the Big Apple. Big mistake, the coffee was stale, and they forgot the cream, by the time they brought it, the coffee was cold. My omelette was cold and tasteless, and the maple syrup they brought for my daughter's waffles was watery. The waiter had a bad attitude, but the manager was what did it for me. When I complained to him about his rudeness, he told me I was rude...... Unbelievable.
