Sandwiches go gourmet at this quick-service chain known for its wood-fire hearths and signature flat bread..
In Short
Styled to evoke the feel of a Parisian café, the focal point of each restaurant is an open-flame stone oven, which swiftly turns out thin-crust pizzas, made-to-order panini and open-faced melts on Roman-style flat bread. Fresh ingredients--including mozzarella, tomatoes, buffalo chicken and secret-recipe dressings--are used in both the sandwiches and the long list of specialty salads. Sweet treats like S'mmm.Oreos (chocolate bar, graham crackers and marshmallows with an extra-large Oreo cookie) are equally popular.

Downhill..
I used to love Cosi and the uniqueness of the place, but ever since I've been to this one, I've been really turned off by the restaurant. The place has no upkeep, it's really unclean and the service is awful. Usually, the place is not even crowded, so there really is no excuse for slow service in my opinion. The food is average, but it's hard to enjoy it when the overall experience is completely bland, and the prices don't match the quality of the food at all. It's kind of sad that a place that used to be so popular has gone downhill. :(
