Welcome to Failte Irish Whiskey Bar!! The first floor transports you to a rustic pub in Ireland with a roaring fireplace, a wattle and daub ceiling, and a beautiful roughhewn wooden bar. The friendly bartenders welcome you with a smile and a cold pint. Failte is the place to sample an Irish whiskey. We have over 20 brands, including the hard to find like Paddys, Midleton Rare and Very Rare, Lockes, and Connemara Whiskeys.
To satisfy your gaming needs, we have a Pool Table and various arcade games. If you're hungry, we have juicy burgers, appetizers, and Irish toasties. Come join us upstairs in our huge private party room perfect for birthday parties, bachelor parties, bachelorette parties, or just private parties for any occasion.

There is a reason Failte has been voted NY's best Irish pub and I'm a huge fan. The crowd and bartenders are great!!

I have been going to Failte since I moved into the area six months ago and it has quickly become my favorite bar in NY. The crowd and bartenders are a lot of fun. The place has a great vibe and the best Guinness around.

I almost died drinking here. I ordered a round of drinks here and when I took a sip I felt something in my mouth. When I took it out, it was a thin razor sharp inch and a half shard of glass. If I had swallowed, or gone in my mouth sideways, I would have been in serious trouble. When I took it to the bartender, he asked me where it came from. I said I didnt know, and he pointed to the glass (where it had apparently chipped off) and continued to look at me, like I had something to do with it. I just shrugged, not sure what he wanted from me. I'm the one that almost drank it. At that point I said I didn't think I should have to pay for the round ($20) and he said, "now you want a free round, for what?". I said, I could have died if I drank this shard of glass. He said, "are you kidding me?" I said, no, I'm not kidding, I could have died. He said, "f--- you, you could have died". At that point I asked for my card back, signed it with 0 tip. When I talked to AMEX today to dispute my charge, they said there was a $24 hold on the card. I'm still waiting to see if that is just a hold, or if the guy is actually going to give himself a $4 tip that I did not write in. I don't feel they are entitled to charge me for drinks I could have died from. I certainly don't think they should tell a customer to go f--- themselves. I've filed a complaint with the city about the glass.
