Wax On!

I've taken advantage of bikini waxes, mani, pedi and massage. The waxing is great. The women are fast, efficient, and painless. I've waxed twice with different techs each time; very good. The pedis are my next favorite. They consistently do an awesome job. I have excellent feet and nails, so I'm rarely impressed with manis. They did a fine job. That said, I once decided to do a chair massage--I do not recommend this. They do not appear trained; and had little knowledge about the musculature of the human body. They clean the salon religiously!
- Pros: excellent waxing services, super clean, great mani/pedis
- Cons: awful massage services

good waxes

i give pastel a top-rating for their waxing services. i've gotten pedicures there too, which have all been fine (not earth-shatteringly wonderful, but certainly not disappointing). i've gone to pastel over two-dozen times, and have probably only had the same waxer once or twice, yet some how all the women there know how to wax quickly, effectively, and properly. i have lived by the beach in california and in florida, and all the places i tried there are terrible by comparison. in my opinion, this is a perfect place to get a brazilian/bikini and underarm wax (i've never been burned, which can happen easily with under-arms). my only complaint has to do with one of their four rooms-- it's like the size of a closet. i'm really tall, so maneuvering on a table that's pressed up against 2 spartan walls was annoying. but, as i said, i've only been put in that room once, and i'm sure the staff would've offered to change rooms had i complained. waxing is never pleasant, but pastel certainly makes it tolerable, and the results are great. i hope you have a good experience too.

I love this place. Perfect Mani/Pedis and they even give you a mini back massage.
Very friendly and im always satisfied. Im going right now!

Additional services include reflexology, waxing, eye treatments and microdermabrasion. The spa offers both spray tanning and tanning beds.
Cosmetics:
Makeup application isn't available, but the effects of mascara can be achieved through the spa's eyelash and eyebrow tinting treatment.
Know Before You Go:
Manicures and pedicures are mostly walk-ins, but spa services are usually reserved by phone. Cancellations should be made 24 hours in advance to avoid being charged.
