Across from the butcher counter, you can order a slice of pizza. YUMMMMMMMMMY!!! The crust is absolutely delicious with the right mix of crunch. It is like eating fresh Italian bread right out of the oven. The sauce and cheese are delicious!! You wont go wrong with this pizza.
Nearly a century old, this family-run butcher has real Meatpacking cred.. In Short Founded by Stefano Poggi in 1912, and currently owned by his daughter Gloria Molinari and family, this butcher inside Chelsea Market has survived a century's change in the Meatpacking District. The wood-floored storefront, with a view to butchers at work next door, specializes in house-aged shell steaks, among other cuts, as well as lamb from a Vermont farm, veal chops and organic chicken. Its meat is also served in dishes at the adjoining Frank's Restaurant.
