no, no, no.. why would anyone pay $7 for a cookie that tastes like cardboard? I don't know how long these things sit on the shelf, and maybe i don't want to know. The cupcakes looked okay, no Crumbs or Amy's quality goods here. I do not think they do any baking in the actual store, which is disapointing. I don't know, I would not go again.

Eleni's in Chelsea Market, New York. This company has the rudest staff and back of house personnel. How they stay in business, I have no idea.

They rush you at the counter & are tremendously rude every time I have gone in. I decided I had had enough.

Again, I had gone in because I like a particular product. I tried to place an order for delivery&I actually felt like I was bothering the counter person. They remind me of Ce ci Cela, only not as good. One kind of expects the French to be rude, but what is the excuse at Eleni's?

super good cupcakes!. I work around the corner from the chelsea market and I always go in there to get desert. Their cupcakes are the best. Eleni's is soooo good! I've not ordered anything online since I can get it directly from the bakery, but their cookies are always well received at the office. Highly recommended.

Very DIssapointed. I have to say I am so dissapointed with the customer service in Eleni's store. The employee who took care of of the other night was rude and short with both myself and my kids. I go to the chelsea market all the time and I could not belive she was treating us this way. I asked for a manager but was told they had none. I think they better remeber who are there neighbors and never forget they are here because of our support. Will never go back again!

Cookies By Mail. Mail-ordered cookies are bland and stale. I ordered them twice and was disappointed both times. Not worth the price.

Hairy Cupcake. I bought a package of 15 assorted cupcakes from Eleni's. The Manhattan package came with a little extra topper.... mold. Not sure about others reading this review, but when you buy a $30 package of "baked fresh daily? cupcakes you don't expect to see mold. Don't do what I did and give them as a housewarming gift, it reflects poorly. In fact, don't even buy them for yourself. Don?t be fooled by the nice interior and tasty displays. It simply is not worth it.

BEST CUPCAKES IN NEW YORK CITY. I absolutely love their vanilla cupcakes with buttercream frosting. They are the best cupcakes I have had in NYC. The frosting absolutely perfect -- sweet without making me sick, light and fluffy and buttery at the

same time. They even have mini cupcakes.

Eleni's cupcakes are better than all those bakeries that became famous for their sickeningly sweet and heavy cupcakes! (I think you know who I am talking about.)

Best cupcakes ever!!!!!! :). The peanut butter cup cupcake is by far the best cupcake I have ever tasted. For $2.50 a cupcake it is woth every cent and more!!!!

Iced cookies for special occasions are this shop's specialty.. In Short
The details of this bakery's butter cookies, cut in myriad shapes and hand-iced in bold colors and designs, make its sweets instantly recognizable. Depending on the season, you may find snowmen, toy trains, champagne bottles, Cupids or jack-o-lanterns, as well as perennial taxis, red hearts, striped presents, butterflies and handbags. Party favors and themed tins, as well as buttercream-topped cupcakes, oatmeal cookies and heart-shaped brownies, are some of the sweets for gift-giving and on-the-spot nibbling.

Creative and tasty. Surprised by previous review, I thought the decorative cookies tasted just like a shortbread/butter cookie should taste.

Always something creative an unique.
