Golden Sound is a rip-off joint. Golden Sound sell bad merchandise, way over priced, and when it doesn't work, says there is only a ten day guarantee. If you have not read the fine print on the letter the owner has posted, he will berate you and blame you and your product for the problem. This is the worst business I've ever dealt with. I don't know they stay in business [I guess West Sider's are too lazy to go to Best Buy] Too bad Circuit City went OOB. I bought my phone battery for less than half the price over the net with a whole year guarantee.

Rip Off. This place does not belong in any neighborhood setting. The owner should be ashamed of himself. My experience has been, that he slashes the plastic covering of the item you're interested in (supposedly, so he can take it out and show you), so you then feel obligated to buy it. He has a 'no return' policy. The last thing I bought there (and it will be the last thing I buy there) was way over priced, a generic version and it didn't work. I found the actual name brand product at a reputable store for less than half the price he charged me. Stay away from Golden Sound. it's a rip off joint. The star rating above, is one too many!

Why some neighborhood retailers SHOULD go out of business.!. Golden Sound gives neighborhood retailers a bad name, this store is a clip joint. They don't stand behind their products, carry largely C level merchandise and God forbid you should be dissatisfied with something you purchase because you are OUT of luck. You will overpay here and even for long standing customers they only care about getting your money up front and showing you the hand if you are dissatisfied. Do yourself a favor and stick with the big chain stores because they believe in your satisfaction with their product. Patronize companies that stand behind what they sell, not shoddy retailers like Golden Sound.
