“These guys have the best selection of professional, rare and vintage instruments and mouthpieces in the city, hands down.”
“The best music store in the city.”
“They have a really nice staff and tons of instruments and mouthpieces that I wasn't able to find anywhere else.”
International Woodwind & Brass. We just bought a bassoon for my daughter from Jon Baltimore. He threw in 2 reeds to get my daughter started and will recommend a teacher if necessary. He's a great guy and it was a pleasure dealing with him. He also gave a year warrantee which is amazing on a used instrument.
Arigatou!!.
One day I was straggling for playing. Then I brought to check my instrument to Jon's place. He said. "You do not need to push harder. Instrument is supposed to be made
playing easily." That was huge impression to me that time.
We all musician can not take care without repairman.
From then on, If I feel something wrong,I go to his place more frequently. We need this kind of stance of friendship between repairman.Insrument is easy to change. He is the one. We can survive in N.Ywith him.
Really cool store. Bought a sax here, absolutely awesome. Had an old sax repaired. Jon knows his sh*t. Both instruments play amazing and the customer service was second to none. Check em out.
The best music store in the city.... Jon Baltimore Music shop is a place that any musician in New York should experience. This music store has great customer service, with sales and repair staff that are very knowledgeable. They told me they just moved, the place looks amazing, with walls and walls of instruments. Also, I got my instrument repaired in a timely manner and they did a great job. I certainly recommend this place to any musician, whether professional or student. They have a really nice staff and tons of instruments and mouthpieces that I wasn't able to find anywhere else.
Best music store in NYC, hands down.. These guys have the best selection of professional, rare and vintage instruments and mouthpieces in the city, hands down. And their customer service was fantastic. They spent time talking to me about the differences and history of the various instruments. They even suggested a few clubs and bars to check out some local acts that I wouldn't have known about otherwise. I'd recommend this store not only to musicians, but to anybody interested in music!
