Terrible service, specially for europeans!. One of the waitress added 20% gratuity to a party of 3, when I asked her to give me explanations she lied saying that they always did it on fridays and saturdays, which was not explained on the menu like in every other restaurant in new york...when I complained and asked for the gratuity to be removed from my check she said that "europeans do no leave tip and that is why she had to do it". What a hell!! First of all, I have been living in the LES for years and I used to go to that place quite often, so I was surprised that she thought I was a tourist, and second of all, even if I was, that does not explain what she did! Of course I did not leave a tip after that and she came after me shouting not to go back ever again. I was actually having dinner with some friends who were visiting from Europe and the whole situation was really embarrassing! I don't think I have such a terrible service experience in my life! I would never put myself through something like that just to save some dollars in an affordable sushi place.
