My fav dvd store for years. I've been using Entertainment Outlet for years. Great store great selection great prices. Skip the jerks at Kims and come here for some great movie shopping.

I was never so desperate I needed to sell my used DVDs so I can't vouch for the "homeless DVD-selling experience" as the above reviewer has. But for actual shopping it's fab!

Crooks!. DON'T SELL TO THESE CROOKS! I tried selling some dvd's I didn't want to this store twice. Both times they offered me way below resale value and treated me like dirt. Then, as if that wasn't enough, they added up wrong to skim more money into their pockets! They should be ashamed and I won't buy, sell or even go near this place. Check online the value of your dvd's before going anyplace and stay away from places like this...

~Great Little NYC DVD Store and More . . .~. This is my absolute favorite DVD store. This place has it all and has it cheap. Entertainment Outlet carries all the TOP 40 Hollywood hits and very rare/hard to find wares, too. Look here for that disc before going to Tower/Virgin - it's alot cheaper and you'll find variety. They have a big Game, Adult, Foreign, Classics and Hits sections but they don't neglect Black, Anime, Budget (real cheap) & TV sections. A real movie buff's store. Hidden NYC Gem. Check Them Out!

A bargain basement of retail and wholesale movies, music and video games.. The Scene
Meet the mayhem with an attitude and it'll be worth it for the truly astonishing blowout prices offered at Entertainment Outlet. The store's always full of young, hungry bargain shoppers, which may give some clue as to why the store has a vaguely seedy feel: Uniformed guards sit high atop stepladders observing customers, and signs proclaim that anyone who looks under 21 must show ID before buying DVDs or videos.

The Goods
The selection is massive--all newly released DVDs, CDs, PlayStation, GameCube and Xbox games and accessories are all available at unbeatable prices. Preview top sellers at the small listening station, check out the $3.99 used VHS bin or peruse the wide array of CD carriers, remote controls and portable music players. Don't miss the music section's impressive selection of Spanish, Latin, dance and hip-hop.
