Contrary to what it says (closed), KC is still open and I have a simple lunch there as I am not a big eater. Good day-time and dinner menu; but I rarely have big meals. My usual fare is a simple house salad with their house dressing of vinaigrette, and the warm and moist pita bread. Occasionally, a glass of wine, or a cup of coffee. Capped by one of their sinful chocolate cake desserts. Yummy.

We'll go back again!. Our family always have lunch at this restaurant. They never disappoint us whenever we go there. Keep it up!!

If you like anything on the menu, it'll be great.. If one said there are choices in south Riverdale they'd say the choices are found on this cafe's menu. go get "My Favorite Beef Burger", the half roasted chicken, or Reuben anytime you want a really great one of those. The breakfast is well done with fresh, good coffee. Great staff, dessert coolers and counter service is always well received. KC stands up tall as a great little place. The large salads come with exactly what is said and without shortage- plus there's the warmed and quartered pita- a nice touch. Tell them to go easy if you don't want allot of Feta- but do you ever say ?no? to the Feta? Of course not. The only thing I need is a freakin menu- I'm running off of memory when I order take out!! KC tastes like a restaurant that makes the food the Americana side of you is eating all the time- so you eat it- mmm. Call me crazy if they don't take pride in what they do- all with a decent glass of wine, good root beer, maybe a slice of chocolate cake? Hmm?? I'm sure the rest of the menu that hasn't been eaten by this customer will be just as good as what has. If you like anything on the menu, it'll be great.
