Defines Poor Customer Service. I have frequented this establishment many times to further my interest in learning the violin and have often overlooked the poor service and attitude of the owner and his staff. Today is the last time I will ever set foot in this store. The arrogance of the owner is unequalled anywhere as he continues to believe he can behave rudely to customers because he has no competition in the area. Two weeks ago, he promised to repair my violin in a couple of days. When I called to see if it was ready, he said he had been busy and I should call in a day or two to see if he'd gotten around to a simple sound post placement. I called again and was told he was very busy and to call back next week. When I did I was told he hadn't gotten to it yet but promised it would be done in a couple of days. When I stopped in today, with the expectation that he would have kept his word this time, I was told it still wasn't ready and that I should go elsewhere because he doesn't have the time to deal with "all my calls." A similar experience with lessons at his store forced me to obtain lessons elsewhere.

Mark, farewell and I hope one day you learn the meaning of customer service because when competition arrives in Jersey City, you will be out of business.
