Extraordinary experience and artistry. Two friends recommended Nercy and Alchemy salon to me as a newcomer to the city. I loved their haircuts and their loyal enthusiasm. My expectations were exceeded! Her space is beautiful, calm, full of natural light and plants. She listens and incorporates everything I have to say and sees me and my hair with an artist's eye and confidence. The cuts, the color, service and attention are just outstanding, and the conversations are fun and inspiring. I look forward to going to see her, and I always come away feeling great about my hair and uplifted by the whole experience. I know I am in the hands of a gifted designer and a rare, generous, beautiful person.

A great haircut and more. I love going for a haircut at Alchemy. The space is gorgeous, the energy uplifting and the hair treatment is beautiful! I came to Nercy with damaged, over highlighted hair, and she immediately treated it so it felt more natural and soft. I am very happy with the haircut, relaxer, and color. I recommend Alchemy to anyone who wants to enjoy the hair

treatment and the process to get it applied!

it's a haircut and an amazing experience. I went in for a haircut but as I opened the door and entered Alchemy I realized that I was in for an experience. The space feels like a little oasis with light earthy colors, natural wood framed mirrors, comfy couches and a music that makes you melt away or energizes you, depending in the day. Nercy took her time to ask questions about what I envisioned for my look but more importantly, she asked what I want to feel like, what my lifestyle and daily beauty routine allow for. All of which are so important when you choose a style. Then gently and masterfully she cut away, stopping just long enough to brush her fingers through my hair and play with my new style, making sure that it works just right. My wishes were heard, my cut came out amazing, I was getting stopped with complements on the streets of NYC for weeks after. The best part with the cut Nercy created for me, I am was able to achieve that look and feel of ease and freshness of a new haircut for weeks. And when the time came to trim again, I didn't hesitate for a second, Alchemy was my only choice. I wanted to be in that space again and get the attention I got and walk out with that floating on 7th cloud feeling I got the last time. I did, second time did not disappoint. I highly recommend Alchemy and especially Nercy to anyone who is looking for a haircut they can fall in love with and an experience that will have them coming back for trims more often.

No More Chances...I'm done. I have been a long time customer of Nercy's. I used to be so happy with my haircuts and they grew in beautifully. However, the last few times I feel she has gone down hill and after my last haircut I will not return.

The second to last time I went to Nercy I asked her to touch up my hair with some color the way she had done previously. She over applied the color and my hair was shades lighter than my natural color.

A month later I went for a haircut. Nercy asked me if I had lightened my hair. When I told her that she had made it so light she quickly changed the subject. She asked what I wanted to do with my hair and I told her I just wanted a trim and that it was a necessity for my hair to still be able to go into a ponytail. We looked at some pictures and decided on a length. As soon as she grabbed the scissors she chopped my hair off. I was annoyed with my hair being so short, but I'm more annoyed now that it is growing in terribly. It was an uneven cut (I even had a friend snip the uneven pieces) and it has no shape. I now have to find someone else to correct this mess.

I used to be a big fan of Nercy's, but I feel like she has stopped listening and has lost focus. I had even referred some friends to her who are also recently disappointed. None of us are going back.

48 and feel like a super model! Thank You!!. I was feeling old and though I'm some what attractive I felt my good looks were a gift of the past and well I have a "good personality" now. I went to Nercy and she let me know frankly that I was crazy in a very kind way and said I need to loose my pony tail and color my hair and cut it short with layers, As she did her magic the layers melted layers of feeling like "I'm getting old" into feeling confident and the end result..I feel beautiful again and though I'm not a super model..I feel like one. She proved to me that beauty is timeless! Nercy will bring out the hidden beauty in you as well

Just fabulous!!. I'm very selective and particular when it comes to my hair - cut and color and rarely try out different stylists. Although, this time, I'm thrilled that I did! Nercy of Alchemy Space is a real genius! She understands your hair and gives you exactly what you need - without you even knowing it till you see it. She's thorough and a real pro at what she does. Besides her professional skills, she's a wonderfully warm person and you're sure to have a great conversation and a good laugh! Final touch, the space is incredible! Convenient location and perfect atmosphere!!!!

Nercy Is An Artist. Besides getting a great haircut, it feels very special being at Alchemy Salon with Nercy. She seems to have a knack for bringing out the client's inner beauty. She is truly an artist ,and I would trust any idea she has for styling my hair. My last haircut still looked great after 3 months, and it was very easy to maintain!!! I have had good haircuts at other salons but the styles were very hard to maintain. I'm thrilled that my hair looks great with very little effort. And I always feel very special after leaving Alchemy Space.

Honestly, It is Great. OKay so this is a great salon. Those who have not been satisfied definitely didn't look into the pricing, and didn't fully know what they wanted done for themselves. She WIll give you what you want... and if you let her go a little crazy it will be even better. It is truly therapy going in there. Susy washes your hair incredibly.. I love it, and I am sure you will too... but be aware that it is a bit pricey, you will pay for what you get ;)

Total RIP OFF. Don't bother. My husband & I went to the salon and really were not impressed with our haircuts. Especially for the price. WAY over priced for the cut you receive. We will not be coming back. Save your $$$ and find a better salon.
