This is a beautiful space in Astoria with great instructors. I wish I could say the same about the staff. Front desk associates are rude and more interested in scamming customers into buying packages for more classes. I recently was ripped off by them and when trying to speak to management I was refused access to them. I would describe this business as pretty from the outside but poisonous inside.

Best Yoga highly recommend:). I started going to The Yoga Room a few months ago and it was the best thing I've done in a long time. I took one of the community classes which is only $10(super cheap for yoga) You can do the same and I'd recommend taking one with Marko if you can.

Everyone that works at The Yoga Room is always friendly and they know my name which is really nice:) The studio is beautiful and they are always making changes like aerial yoga coming this summer. I still have yet to take pilates but the hot classes and open vinyasa are both really awesome and a great workout!

It's easy to get to and right near the Kaufman Astoria movie theater.

Now go check it out!!!

Good Teachers, but Unfriendly Staff. I live in Astoria. There is no yoga places in Astoria except this place. I went there to ask some questions. Staffs were not friendly, but fine! I tried 3 different classes. Teachers were nice and good classes. but the staff working at the front desk were cold stone face unfriendly ladies... One lady yelled at me because I didn't tell my name to put in their computer system. I didn't know about it all, because nobody explain it to me!!!

I am addicted. The yoga room is awesome. I brought my mother there for the first time for her birthday and now we have been going every Saturday or Sunday since January. I highly recommend Franciscas vinyasa class on Sunday morning or Wesleys hot yoga class on Saturday. They are the best and I promise you will love it. I have become so much more flexible and have seen many changes in my body since I started.

A little piece of heaven. The yoga room is a beautiful, warm and inviting studio that invites a sense of peace and tranquility immediately upon entering! The staff and teachers are wonderful and friendly. The classes are challenging and only occasionally crowded, but never uncomfortable. The introductory offer is also an excellent deal that even the beginner yogi should take advantage of.
