Hidden Gem - Awesome Sushi/Great Service. I love this place. They have a lot of regulars. I go 1-2 times a week minimum. The sushi is great, fresh, consistent. The staff knows me by name. Every time I take people here, they are so impressed by the quality of the fish.

If you passed by it on the street you would have no idea, but it's great.

Highly Recommended. Went to Hane Sushi on Sunday night with group of 16. Surprisingly they handled us very professional since there was another large group next to us. The order came out preety fast and delicious. I had chilean Seabass and my hubby had Yuzu Miso Cod and dragon roll. The fish was cooked perfecly, moist and tasty.... highly Recommeded!

Great Sushi and Service. This is a great little sushi place with fresh fish and a staff that is top notch. I have eaten at Hane a few dozen times and have enjoyed every meal. They have a great blackened tuna roll and all of their salads are amazing due to a unique take on ginger dressing. Highly recommend Hane. Only drawback is that the space is a little small, but the quality of the fish and friendly service more than makes up for it.

Time for Lunch. Murry Hill isn't a Manhattan culinary highlight but this place is helping to break down that image. Consistently good sushi and service are only made better by a great value $12.95 prix fixe lunch... which is definitely the time of day to visit this place. With simple, easy on the eyes blonde wood, the interior is small but intimate. They take reservations but waits go quickly anyway so just stick with the queue. Crispy spicy rolls are a highlight.

Not bad, too tight. various special rolls, nice presentation. I love their cocktail drinks. Downside is too tight a place to have a comfortable dinner.

Excellent Murray Hill Sushi. I've been to this restaurant many times. Though they serve hot dishes from the kitchen (the shumai are recommended), the highlight of this place is their sushi and sashimi. Given that midtown has many destinations for well-known, exceptional Japanese restaurants, this Murray Hill gem stands out with their preparation, presentation, and quality of food for prices well below its better-know midtown cousins. The dining room is small, yet elegant and often not crowded.

Fresh, delicious Sushi. The rolls are delicious, everything tastes fresh and the presentation is well executed. One of my favorite places in NYC for sushi -- I'm glad it's in my neighborhood. The seating is a bit cramped, but the food is worth it. If you want down-to-earth, fresh sushi, you should try this place, if you are looking for a scene, then you should look elsewhere. They do take out too!

Amazing Sushi. This place is packed every night. It is strange that Zagat does not rate it.... the sushi is excellent. I would even say top 10 in NYC--and I have been to a lot of sushi places. The crowd has many Japanese people, business men, and neighborhood residents. It is very casual and friendly.
