Fabulous!!

So I understand people's complaints about poor service in the past, etc. However, the store apparently has a new manager and it reflects in the staff and appearance of the store. I live in the area and pass by quite frequently, and pop in from time to time to see what's new. The last couple times have been extremely pleasant, and I ended up leaving with a new pair of jeans (which fit perfectly by the way.) I can tell the vibe at Mavi is much more positive and the staff enjoys being there. Also, if you have any problems with your jeans, they go above and beyond to take care of you. I will most certainly continue to shop at Mavi....as long as they keep up the great service!!

• Pros: Selection and sizing is incredible.
• Cons: Music was loud. :)

Overpriced jeans and bad salespeople

I will start out by saying that I love Mavi jeans. They are so cute and usually fit me well, but I just wish I could afford them. I have a few pairs because a friend used to work at the store at Broadway, so I got a discount, but that is no more. As far as customer service goes, Mavi is always, always disappointing. I work in retail and hate shopping myself (so I usually do my shopping very fast) and customers who can't shop for themselves are annoying, but it's nice to have someone helping you in the dressing room - and this has consistently been a problem for me at this store. The last few times I've gotten a big paycheck and have been ready to spend it at Mavi, I go into the dressing room, only to be forgotten about by a ditzy sales girl. Last time I spent a full 20 minutes waiting for a girl to bring me another size, only to give up, get dressed, and find her flirting with a guy at the counter. She was embarrassed and apologized, and I wasn't rude to her, but she was definetely rude to me. It's just not worth it, unless you have the money to spend. I would get fired for acting like the people at Mavi.

Their Jeans Rock

Excellent place to go to get jeans that fit you well and don't break the bank. Everyone that works there is really helpful and polite. Overall, it's a refreshing shopping experience. I highly recommend!
