No good. Small menu, expensive, food is different but average, service is decent, dessert was good. Overall I wouldn't go back
Very Disappointing.
Disappointing.
Food was delicious but VERY overpriced...the owner, Jim Parker, was not accomadating and a bit obnoxious I must say. He had us move our party of 7 to cater to a party of 2 that had not arrived yet,. He didn't thank us just made us feel like we were not really welcome and HAD to move. When we told him that we weren't happy he said "I don't care about that...what's your complaint" A $400 bill should deserve a bit more courtesy don't you think?
Best French-American bistro. Red Hat is an excellent bistro - very consistent. The food and service are always good. My favorite dishes include the steak frites, duck and black cod. Please note - the restaurant has moved to the waterfront in Irvington and the views are breathtaking. This is the type of restaurant you want to go back again and again. And even though it's in Westchester, it ranks up there with any of the top Manhattan restaurants. We've never had a bad experience and always leave - with the plan to come back soon. Worth every dollar.
