yummy yummy in my tummy !!. I tried all the Moroccan restaurants in nyc i think and this is so far the BEST. The food is always superb.

I always order the couscous lamb or the bastilla along with tha arugula salad !! Delicious ! It is very rich in taste.

I have been a regular and the staff also knows how to treat and welcome you !

Strongly recommend the place !

what are they thinking?. my husband and I love moroccan food, so we went for a dinner. We decided to order some appetizers. Hummus was ok. Spicy shrimp...sauce tasted like it came from the next door (Bricklane Curry House). Patatas bravas(crispy potato with herbed spicy harissa aioli).. cubed french fries with chipotle sauce.

I don't know what to say..They are far from moroccan food or mediterranean.

By the way, it took forever to receive the food. I didn't want to tip at all, but my husband gave them too much tip...so we had an argument afterwards. Thanks for that! We won't go back ever! mogador is super fast and good food.

Delicious Moroccoan food in E. Village. The ambiance is sexy with dim lighting. It is great for a dinner for two, or gathering with a small group of friends around the pillows.

As for food, their Moroccan chefs make a great Berber lamb w/ couscous (tastes just like they make in Morocco!), and yummy chicken Fez.

Great authentic Moroccan food :). I don't know where to start :) We were warmly greeted at the door and we felt like we are truly welcome to the place. Then we ordered some drinks, my friend got a Strawberry Margarita, and I got a La Poire St. Germain. Both drinks were AWESOME, perfectly mixed and delicious. Then we got several appetizers which were extraordinary. We got the Harrira soup (which is a must have), the Spicy Prowns, the Meze plate and the Bourekas. Everything was brought to us speedily. Then we continued to the main courses which were the Fish Tagine and the Mixed Grill. The portions were generous, the food was cooked to perfection. Noone rushed us and let us take our time. At the end we left a generous tip because the service exceeded our expectations with courteousness and speed. We will definitely be back !

This place was cool w/ the following exceptions!. I took my boyfriend for his birthday on a Sat. night. We had 9:30 reservations and got seated immediately....which was nice! Surprisingly enough the place wasn't crowed...that was definitely a plus!! Now I was all dolled up and I asked the nice waitress to take a picture of me and the boyfriend. After she clicks the picture, she says to me, "You're so gorgeous. I hate you!" and walks away! ok??? I guess I should have been flattered but it did feel a little bit weird to hear that. At around 10:45pm, I'm looking around to see if the belly dancer is any where around, and that's when the waitress comes up to our table and says that the dancer is "stuck in traffic" and won't be coming. Ugh...We were SOOO disappointed. That's the whole reason that we went there!! So she offered us a complimentary hookah. Ok?? No thanks...we got 2 drinks instead. Not bad :-) I did really like the meal and the ambiance of the place. Will I go back??? Yes...but I want the see the BELLY DANCER!~!!!

Loved it. Went to Zerza last Saturday, when we got there we found out they moved a couple or three doors down from the old location! We thought the new space is very romantic but most important was the food: Everything we had was truly delicious and very tasty. At around 10:30 pm a pretty belly dancer showed up and added that nice touch to our dinner experience. Congratulations to Zerza for a great executed operation and for managing to capture the same unique and exotic ambiance.

There is no More Zerza. Did you know that Zerza moved? I didn't...They moved few doors down the block, and lost 3/4 of their room. It was sad to find that out upon arrival. Now Zerza looks like a tiny narrow corridor with tables on both sides, not much of the menu and most likely no belly dancer (did not see one on Saturday night, but there is just no space for that!) The service was very nice/pleasant/friendly. I can't say that the food was bad overall, but my lamb tagine was not very tasty (the lamb itself was lacking flavor and was not) very tender. I will not return to Zerza, it lost its ambiance that I used to enjoy, and I am certain there are better places for Moroccan food.

Delicious. The food is absolutely amazing! My favorites are the chicken bastilla, meze plate, duck confit, and the baby lamb chops. I used to go there all the time, but now I live so far away from everything. It's a shame they don't have another location around where I live. They have everything from belly-dancers to hookahs, excellent food, superb customer service. And they take care of their regulars. It's an awesome place. I highly recommend it.

Great moroccan place. The food and service were great. I had the moroccan cigars and chicken bastilla which were great. The mint tea was fantastic as well.
