“Then they had the nerve to charge $75 for a cake that was full of margin.”

My parents who keep kosher flew in the other day, so I had to find a nice Manhattan kosher restaurant to take them out. A friend recommended Talia’s Steakhouse, so I figured it was worth a shot. I couldn’t have been happier with my decision. We started off with delicious lamb lollipops and glasses of Sangria. Next was some amazing duck for me and prime rib for my parents. They loved their meal and thanked me for taking them out to such a great restaurant. I’ll have to check out Talia’s again sometime to try more of their menu. Highly recommended.
I've been to Talia's Steakhouse a few times now and I can safely say it's my favorite kosher restaurant in NYC. Not only is the food and service excellent, but they always have great deals going on with Groupon, Jdeal, Livingsocial, etc. and it's so great to have a kosher restaurant in Manhattan with live music. Late Saturday nights are always a good time. My family and I are looking forward to joining Talia's for their Passover Seders coming up soon!
There aren't enough kosher restaurants open late on Saturday nights. Talia's is open until 4AM every Saturday night and is definitely my favorite place to be with the munchies after a long night of partying with my friends downtown. There's nothing like heading back home to the Upper West Side and finding a kosher place to sit down and have a great burger. And they just started serving some early morning breakfast dishes as well for us late night stragglers. Plus, they've got a full bar if you need that little extra nightcap.
My husband told me how great the steak was at Talia's when he went for a business meeting, so I agreed to have our next date there. I was truly impressed: the steak - yes, delicious, the service - very nice, kind staff, for helpful, very caring (gave them a big tip;)). The live music was also a lot of fun. I am definitely looking forward to visiting there again soon.
I randomly wandered into Talia's last Wednesday night just looking for a place to get a beer, but the smell of all the food coming off the tables near the bar made my stomach rumble and I decided to order a burger. The patty was huge, topped with fresh vegetables and cooked just the way I liked it. It was simply a great, juicy burger, with great homemade fries on the side. I'm gonna be back with my girlfriend soon and try out some of their steaks, which all looked really great from where I was sitting.
Family dined here on sunday for a very
early dinner. Great place to
take your kids to - wish they had a children's menu, but nonetheless
very exciting food options for kids. Adults are equally well
accomodated:) Steaks are awesome. My wife loved her chicken dish. We
ate outside which was very pleasant despite the heat. Could have been
some more frequent water refills, but other than that, no complaints!
Prices are definitely reasonable, especially when you have a large
crew to feed. I noticed they update their specials and cocktails
drinks often, and that is a great bonus. I recommend bringing a family
here anytime!
our favorite spot to dine is at talias.
Have never tried a true brunch "kosher style" before, and my husband
and I were quite excited when we saw Talia's Brunch advertised with
Groupon. What a tremendous deal! The menu was quite varied and I honestly wanted to try one of everything! Finally settling for Salmon Benedict and Steak and Eggs turned out to be a nice choice. We even added a little extra to our bill with a waffle sundae desert. Yum! We enjoyed having alcoholic beverages with our meal and the beautiful weather of the outdoor cafe. Service was fine, and we especially enjoyed most of all what we came for - to eat:)
Ask for Talia's traditional Moroccan lamb tagine simmered in numerous spices. It is so yummy! However, if you are a couple and both are in a mood for steak, order the 30 oz. prime rib for two. It is so delicious. And, do not forget the souffle with vanilla ice cream - from heaven!
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
I decided to bring my mother & friend to Talia’s Steakhouse for brunch – an almost, pre mother’s day party! This is my favorite place Middle Eastern cuisine & great glatt kosher food – except my friends not Jewish! But Talia’s Steakhouse has it all. Pancakes, waffles, eggs Florentine, omelets & brunch cocktails from bloody marys, mimosas to champagne! They cater to all & aim to please – and they definitely succeed! Talia’s Steakhouse is a place to go!
I cannot say enough how much I love this restaurant! Especially the atmosphere & candle light. Even in the bright of day, this restaurant has a romantic, comforting & relaxing feel. The servers always takes good care of us. So many times we have gone; we have almost had all the servers wait on us. Each & every one of them takes such good care of us & makes us feel right at home! With their attentiveness & hospitality, they go out of their way to make every trip to Talia’s Steakhouse memorable. All the staff is quite diligent & professional. Again, we love this restaurant!!!!
Worst Brunch in Town. This was the worst brunch I have ever experienced in NYC in 30 years of going to brunch. The service was nonexistent. The food, when it finally arrived, was cold and inedible. And when speaking to management about it, they actually made it worse. WE did not eat our meals and when getting up to leave were served with a bill for taxes and an exorbitant tip of nearly $20- for HATEFUL service. The only people I would send here would be enemies
