Go and Don't miss Sundays!. I went to Brite Bar this past Saturday and had a great time this was my third time at Brite. The music was fun and the drinks were strong. I had one of their house drinks then my usual Ketel and Soda. The bar staff was having a great time behind the bar which made the customers feel like they were part of the fun and some were. I was given an advert for an entertainer they have on Sundays and decided to go. OMG! What a blast. This performer Candis Cayne was 1. Gorgeous and 2. Hysterical and can dance. She ran into 10th ave and climbed onto cabs and sang and even engaged the police that watched her show from their van parked out front. I cant wait to go back.

I would never go here again. All I have to say about this place is that I asked the bartender for a glass of water, and she told me she was too busy and not right now. I was having an allergy attack and needed water, waited 15 minutes while she ignored me, and ended up having to go to the manager to get a glass of water. I guess they don't care about service at this bar or if their customers are having a good time. I'm an event planner for a major firm, and I will never go back and will let everyone I know about my lovely evening there.

you couldn't pay me to go back. bouncer was horrible. would not let me and my friend (two cute girls) in for no reason when there was hardly anyone in the bar and proceded to let others in to prove a point. frankly we just wanted to use their bathroom and have a quick drink before going somewhere cool. they are horrible losers and spending money there supports an organization that pays the worst bouncer i have ever had the displeasure of encountering. do yourself a favor and just spend the extra time and money to go somewhere worth your night.

A pleasant surprise. We stumbled upon Brite on our way from another club. This place looks trendy, was attitude free, and had great service. The crowd was young and good looking (probably people who needed a break from the pretentious clubs around the corner). I had a great time here and would definitely return.

Loved This Place. I was in the neighborhood checking out some of the more trendy spots when I stumbled onto this one. Instantly, it felt warm and welcoming. The vibe was really hip, but also friendly. Plenty of places to sit down and just relax. Great bartenders. Excellent cocktails. Very neighborhoody type spot. I even came back the next night, which I rarely do at a bar, as I prefer to check out new places.

Lite-Brite toys and locally brewed "energy" vodka stir up a lively vibe at this 10th Avenue lounge-- or at least they did, before it closed and became a new lounge called Velour.. The Scene
Tenth Avenue has rapidly morphed into a playground for affluent 20-somethings. Opting for a more relaxed, mature atmosphere, John Libonati and Chris Schutte remodeled a former historic hotel and created a sleek conduit for that most noble nighttime cause: meeting fellow New Yorkers. Long rectangular leather couches encourage friendly mingling, while twinkling Lite-Brite games and huge plastic-covered chandeliers offer easy conversation pieces in the comfortable space.

The Draw
Brite Bar has earned a steady following for its unusual ZYGO energy vodka cocktails, which also help support a local West Village distillery. You're likely to see a late 20s- to early 30s-crowd sipping the bar's signature Fother Mucker drink, which packs a sweeter punch than its Red Bull/vodka cousin. Overall, a much more inviting, but still chic alternative, to the trendier Bungalow 8 around the corner.

Brite, Friendly & Fun!. Whenever I get back to NYC - heading to Brite Bar means getting right back into a NYC way of life - the best neighboorhood bar in Chelsea. Always a big hello from John and Chris, who always manage to introduce you to someone new - it is kind like "matchmaking" for friends.

Great night. Have been to the bar several times and each time it seems to get better. Great atmosphere, killer cocktails and excellent music make for a very fun evening.

Brite doesn't suffer from the attitude you get in some of the other bars in the area.

My favorite bar in the area.
