“great place, great people!”
“They seem to do a lot of parties on both floors which is cool when your trying to meet new people.”
“Drinks were great (lychee martini was the best) and prices were good (under 10 bucks a drink).”
coudlnt' be happier. People hosted my birthday party and my friends and I could not have had a better time. The music, drinks, food and the customer service was more than impressive. This place is also reasonably priced. I looked for a lot of places to have my party, and I am glad I chosed this one.
Great People!!. I was in People on Saturday and we had a great time! The space is very comfortable and the drinks were really tasty. I don't understand what some of these other reviewers are talking about. Reasonably priced drinks, great music and my friends were all over the bartender with the glasses and the tall one. They seem to do a lot of parties on both floors which is cool when your trying to meet new people. I've also been there during the week. Quiet, but nice music and you can actually talk to the bartenders which is nice when it's just you and your girl or guy hangin at the bar. Highly recommended!!!
Too Many "People". There is just too many "people" at this lounge / busy bar. The crowds are insane during the weekends and getting from one end of the room to another is way too much of a chore. That and the drinks are spendy.
Crowded on weekends. Great drinks and atmosphere, but you won't be able to enjoy on the weekends unless you are into '90s hip hop and a B&T crowd.
small space bad music. I dont know abt all the good reviews i read abt this place but when i went the place was a bit on the empty side. Upstairs has super low ceilings ( i guess wear flats ladies) and a bit claustrophobic. The drinks were ok, the lychee martinis were pretty good but the music was really really blah. I mean i should have brought my ipod along and plugged it into the speakers (kelly clarkson?!? do people really play that outside the comfort of their bedrms?) my overall recommendation...go elsewhere...theres so many other places on les..... its not so great here
Great Drink Prices!. This is an Ok bar whith great drink prices. Drinks are cheap and the decor is nice but everything else ehh. Great eighties music. The place gets really loud and crowded.
Generic semi-upscale bar. Crowded, lots of young people on the lower floor and slightly less young people upstairs. Loud, generic music. Comfy couches if you get table service. Nothing special, yet nothing especially wrong with it. Definitely go with a group to enjoy yourself. No dancing.
great for groups, arrive b4 8pm, 1/2 price drinks. I threw a surprise party for my sister Friday night. we arrived at 7pm and the place was not too packed. people quickly packed the place. my group mingled amongst ourselves though seats were not plenty (we did have over 20 people). we didn't need a reservation, but another group was coming at 10pm. we didn't expect to be there that late. But it became 1030pm and the staff quietly and nicely reminded us. The bouncer guy kept telling us sorry about this, but he was so nice. They even bought my sister and I a shot before we left. we had a cake and they gave us plates, forks and candles. there is a 1/2 priced happy hour until 8pm on all drinks. everyone was really nice there. i will definitely go again.
Awesome Place. Gorgeous lounge, especially the upstairs part of this venue. The staff is attentive and attractive.
Nothing terribly special. I went alone, which seems to be a pretty big mistake. The crowd tends to be formed of small groups of friends and I was quite out of place it took a while to track down someone who seemed willing to talk to me. The drinks were nice and well priced, decore was good, but the music was terrible. The songs they were playing were staples over 10 years ago at the roller rink, and I gotta say that's not what I look for in a bar. Staff was friendly but unless I've brought my night out with me in the form of my own friends, I won't be hitting this place up again any time soon.
