Mediocre quality and rude service. I have taken many, many pairs of shoes here because it is near my office. The prices are good, but I have finally decided that the location and cost are not worth it. The quality of the shoe repair is average, certainly nothing special, and it is obvious that work has been done on the shoes. They do polish the shoes as part of any repair, and I have been other places (including Artie's in Chelsea, which was raved about) who charge an arm and a leg and yet don't even polish the shoes. However, the final straw for me is the rude service. The staff are very curt and have rolled their eyes at me numerous times when asking them to clarify what they are saying or what they are asking. Such behavior is rude towards anyone, but especially towards someone who brings so much regular business. I will not return somewhere that treats their customers so poorly.
