Great Food & Good Sangria. We had a very nice meal at Georgio's. The menu was well priced and we loved the Sangria. The steak was delicious. The restaurant was very cute on the inside. Highly recommend.

Manager Needs to Learn Good Customer Service. Georgio's Country Grill used to be a safe spot for a traditional American brunch because of its variety of omelets and shakes and low key atmosphere. Now, the decor is showing wear and tear and so is the service not to mention the food. The manager now paces the floor and hovers over tightly packed tables to rush paying customers from the tables the moment they finish their entrees. He doesn't even give people time to order an after meal coffee or tea. When I explained that I had noticed his behavior on several occasions and that it made people feel unwelcome, his response was that he had $16k/month rent to pay and that he had been nice to me over the years. He then added that he couldn't help it if I felt that way. Pardon me, but I didn't realize that it was a burden to be nice to paying customers who are also nice to you. The manager was too ignorant to realize that positive word of mouth and recommendations from loyal customers translates into more customers. On top of this, I found a hair in my omelet during my last visit. I will never return to Georgio's Country Grill and will tell all of my friends to do the same.

Used to Be Good - But No More. This used to be a great local place to grab a good meal, but as the last reviewer said, they've made the experience so completely unpleasant, I've stopped going. They've crowded more tables than can reasonably fit in the space they have, so you end up sitting on top of the people next you - unable to back up your chair, unable to get out, unable to enjoy your meal. And if you sit at one of the tables along the wall, forget about getting proper service. Even the waiters can't get to your table. We spoke to the manager about this, who acted as if he cared, but nothing changed. Hate. Hate. Hate. Hate this place now.

Goodbye Georgio's! You Lost Two Faithful Local Customers!. After eating at Georgio's for years, we have finally had it with Georgio's which insists on cramming tables so close together you that you feel like caged animals. It is a barbaric experience. At times you will find yourself unable to actually exit from your table to leave the restaurant. Doesn't this violate fire codes?

Last night, there was a new $15 minimum imposed for credit cards. Ridiculous. GOODBYE!

Try Renaissance Diner at 52nd and Ninth Avenue.

Excellent food in Hell's Kitchen!!. Have been here a few times for brunch & am really impressed. Georgio's has a wide selection of food & it's all delicious - the breakfast-y options, the sandwiches, the pastas. Better than your average diner, this is more like the kind of restaurant one wishes every neighborhood had... an all-American joint serving a wide variety of better-quality dishes. Service is fine here, & so are prices. It can get crowded, leading to a wait & close quarters. But overall, a tasty place at which we are repeat diners!

Decent food, HORRIBLE SERVICE. I went here for Sunday brunch with a friend. The breakfast started off fine, as we were able to get a table. We were happy to try this place out and the food looked great. However, the table was smashed in the corner. Since it was hard for the servers to get to us, we were completely ignored.

Our coffee/water was never refilled. No one ever approached our table except once to take our drink/food orders. We asked 4 times for drink refills. Finally, my friend got up with the water glasses and took them to a server (this was a good 20 minutes after flagging down waiters and asking for a refill). The manager reprimanded my friend and told him to sit down, adding that "there are 20 servers here to help you." We finally got a refill on coffee/water, and five minutes later, when we were still drinking, we were instructed to pay the check (that they had dropped with our food). We said we were still drinking our coffee, and the server said "well, we need this table."

We said fine, left a shameful tip, and left. We'll never go back. The food is good, though, and it's a shame that we left with such a bad experience because of the horrible, rude service. Avoid this place!!

above average food, bad service. FOOD - above average, decent diner/american food. a bit salty, often greasy. big portions (enough for two full meals)

SERVICE - my biggest complaint. awful. they treat you like they're doing you a favor. and when there's a problem, instead of trying to fix it, they immediately assume it's your fault. also, delivery often takes more than an hour (one time it took them 1 hr and 45 minutes and they were angry that we called and asked about the food).

Good Service, Subpar Food. I'm just not impressed with Georgio's as their food lacked flavor, the prices were a tad spendy, and the service was apathetic. The portions are enough to stuff you and then some -- perhaps better recommended for delivery if anything.
