“The waiting room was comfortable and clean.”
“The doctors and staff were fabulous.”
“Horrible, huge bills and a totally uncaring, nasty vet.”

Westside Veterinary Center is a truly
professional, warm and friendly place. They came highly recommended by friends and neighbors. We have been bringing our dog there since she was a puppy (she's now 6), and have had the best of care from vets and techs alike.
You can expect caring, informed professionals who will take time with you to discuss your pet's particular needs. Inquiries are addressed immediately and more detailed phone calls are returned promptly. The staff, vet and clerical, remember you and your pet and your needs. I particularly appreciate the understanding that every animal has different needs and a unique personality. Westside Vet is patient with your pet (and you) and will support the choices you make for your pet. You will never be pressured to pursue options that your pet doesn't need or that you aren't comfortable with. You always have choices. I am an informed patient in my own healthcare and ask a lot of questions -- I do the same for my pet. I've often asked questions about current debates in pet wellness, and the responses I've received are always knowledgeable, broad-minded (from alternative to conventional medicine), and sensitive.
We see Dr. Karen Cantor, who embodies all the qualities I've described here. She has been a joy to work with, especially since I was a first-time dog-person. Patient and kind, with good advice, Dr. Cantor is never put off by my thoroughness and proactive concern for my dog's well-being.
If you choose Westside Vet Center, you'll appreciate the staff there and the entire experience. You'll also be glad that there's someone on call overnight if you have a concern and need some reassurance or guidance, or to deal with an emergency. I highly recommend Westside Vet Center.
I only gave them five stars because there isn't an option to give them more. The folks at Westside Veterinary genuinely seem to love animals, and it shows in their work. I hope that your pet has nothing but the best of health. If you do need a vet, though; I hope you love your pet enough to bring him / her to Westside Veterinary.
like it. I took my dog in today and was relieved to be able to arrive at 7pm and still be charged for a normal visit. One of the biggest issues I have with clinics are their hours. Every person we interacted with at Westside was fabulous, including all of the front office staff and the doctor herself who was extremely thorough and patient. The bill was normal and there were no weird/unexpected charges. I will definitely bring him there again.
great job. Lou did a stellar job on my tattoo and it went very smoothly. The design was great and I am really satisified with my new tat!
westside veterinary. My dog is a golden retriever named Bailey 5 years old and West side have saved him twice. Shepard was hit and treated him with the most care in the world. I felt my dog was really love here. The doctor, nurses and technicians where on top of everything. They are true professionals.
Nice. Westside is a fantastic Veterinary Hospital, the staff really is compassionate about the animals and I never seem to have any problems when my dog needs to come here. I definietly trust them with Lucy!
nice job. We originally started taking our dog here four years ago because of the convenient weekend hours, but after the attention and care that we have received, I wouldn't think of taking him any place else. Ringo has gotten into some strange situations, he has eaten our bed, our couch cushion and most recently a bra strap. Not to mention all of the instances of kennel cough and giardia we've endured! Each time an incident occurs, the vets and nurses here have been professional, caring and most importantly accurate. Plus, Ringo loves going there. My husband, Ringo and I all highly recommend the Westside Veterinary Center.
Great service..... My puppy started puking uncontrollably and Westside Vet was able to see him within a HALF HOUR. For alot of us, our pets are family, so being able to get him taken care of ASAP was absolutely amazing.
Good job. Wonderful hospital. They really care about the patients and clients and are giving the best quality medicine. I am surprised to see any negative reviews. This hospital is available 24 hours day 7 day a week. They have been there for the community for over 25 years.
Respectable!. The best vet in the city!!! We see Dr. Rosenthal, who is so sharp and caring. She asks lots of questions and arrives at the right diagnosis, which is something we had never experienced before, having had so many terrible vets in the city. Everyone that works here truly loves animals. My dogs kiss everyone here, even despite the shots, etc. The best!!!!
