BEST BAR IN NEW ROCHELLE..MIGHT JUST BE THE BEST BAR IN ALL WESTCHESTER COUNTY!. MY HUSBAND AND I LOVE GOING TO SILKIE'S.. WE WISH WE CAN MAKE IT EVERY WEEKEND BUT WE CAN'T. BUT WE WE GO THERE A LOT. THIS IS SUCH A GREAT PLACE TO HANG OUT AND HAVE A COUPLE OF GOOD DRINKS. THE FOOD IS AWESOME..I HAVE TRIED ALMOST EVERYTHING ON THE MENU AND EVERYTHING IS DELICIOUS!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE.. YOU SHOULD CHECK IT OUT!

The BEST OF THE BEST FOR A BAR/TAVERN!!!!!. I recently moved to New Rochelle from NYC so my husband and I have been looking for a place here in New Roc to hang out.....well we found it...even though this is a low key spot from the outside...do not judge a book by its cover....silkie is AWESOME!!!! She is the owner, bartender, cook, bouncer, and shrink!!!!! Drinks are great, no cheap stuff, top shelf and the food on the menu is great only $5 (wings with the hot sauce on the side, seasoned waffle fries, crab cakes, fried ravioli, and more)...the music is a jukebox which has an excellent selection from hip-hop, pop,top 40, and alternative rock.......no Happy hour but no need cuz fom the time she opens at 6 PM until 4 AM every hour is happy hour!!!
