I used them to move for the first time. I was very nervous very demanding and anxious to choose the right movers. But once I met with Eli, I knew that they were the one. Eli was always available over the phone or by email to answer all my questions. The crew he gave me was the best, they were so fast and super careful wrapping everything I had. They came on time in the morning and I paid close to the estimate that Eli gave me at the beginning. Also had a storage unit which we stopped at on the way to the news house, everyone was done 1,2,3 easy breezy!

I would definitely recommend Eagle Vans Line Moovers to any move you have to take care off. Great customer service and everything was the way it was before the move! Great team, great job! Very happy of my choice for going with them.

Eagle Van lines is really one of the best moving companies with A+ rating with the BBB and it is also accredited by the BBB I used them to move to Florida and had a great moving experience! These guys that did the pick up were fernaminal! And the delivery was just as smooth.I would Highly recommend Eagle van lines to all my family (which my Brother is going to use them next week he's going to Fort Meyers Fl as well.) I can't say how glad I am to have chosen Eagle with Eli and his people there's no one more professional and caring at what they do! If You are moving You should call Eagle van lines to have it done right with a good price too!

Moving from New York to Miami Beach Florida.

It all started off great. The movers came to get my things on time, they were quick and handled all my things perfectly and the quote I originally received wasn't that much higher than what they actually charged me for after packing all my things.

However, it all started going downhill from there. The contract states that Eagle Van Lines will deliver my things 7-10 days after the date indicated on the contract. It's been 9 days since the date given on the contract and 15 days since the time of their pick up and yet NO ONE FROM THE COMPANY HAS A CLUE WHEN MY THINGS WILL ARRIVE! In fact, they told me just yesterday that my belongings HAVEN'T EVEN LEFT THE WAREHOUSE IN JERSEY CITY! When I asked them when I can expect to have my things, the guy replies "I don't know, all I can do is call you when it leaves the warehouse." And then he proceeds to tell me that he "has to go because he's getting another phone call".

When you entrust movers with all your possessions, it's like giving them access to your entire livelihood. Especially when you're moving long distance. Everything that has ever meant anything to you, they are handling. It's not only unacceptable that they are so nonchalant about making good on the terms of THEIR contract but the fact that their horrible costumer service just tops them off to be A FRAUDULENT AND IRRESPONSIBLE BUSINESS WITH NON EXISTENT CUSTOMER SERVICE.

IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR THINGS AND WANT TO MOVE STRESS FREE, CALL SOME ONE ELSE. FAST!!

Or complain to the BBB like I did. Maybe it will change the way they treat their paying customers and deliver good on their contract!

Positive reviews the result of bribery. UPDATE ON UPDATE: Received my card last week but only after many emails one of which contained a link to this review. They have since asked me to delete the review entirely however citysearch only allows editing. UPDATE: So after the move I was contacted by Eagle and told that if I wrote a review and posted it online they would send me a $15 thank you card to Home Depot. I wrote the review below and gave them 4 stars due to the tardiness and was told by an Eagle Customer Relations Manager "thank you for your honesty - as we believe in complete integrity we would not ask you to change your review, please look for your gift card in 3/4 weeks". This was four months ago. I have followed up with them since and have gotten no response or giftcard. Based on this, I can only assume that the promise of a giftcard is meant to be a bribe for positive reviews which is shady on so many levels. ORIGINAL REVIEW: These guys were great. The first thing that set them apart from the (many) other companies I got quotes from was the fact that they insisted on a site visit prior to the move in order to give me a clear estimate. That made me trust them more than a paper quote. They weren’t the cheapest but the cheaper movers had some negative reviews and I didn’t think this was the area to save money. There are so many horror stories about movers holding items “hostage” plus it was just me, so I wanted a company with a solid base of positive recommendations. They handled my items with complete care - there was nothing broken, nothing scratched. The only thing keeping me from giving them a full 5 star rating was their timing – they were 15 minutes late on the day of the move and took an hour to get to my new location (a 20 minute drive). But other than that, everything else was great.

Best Movers with best experience. Dear Eagle Van Lines in Jersey City,



First off, I must say the move was absolutely great. The men were very careful with my items especially the grandfather clock. I didn't have any time to have a onsite estimate done but Melody provided a very accurate estimate after I told her what I'm moving from Queens, NY to Lodi, NJ. All in all, the move went perfect. No damages or complaints. I already have my friend interested in moving with you guys in a month.

Moving with Eagle van lines was great!. We used Eagle van lines for a move from New Jersey to New york and they did a great job, they got there on time ,took our beds apart and loaded up the truck in a quicker amount of time then we expected, when we got to our new place the movers were already there and had beat us to it (must be a first!) But they unloaded the truck just as fast and put every thing where we wanted. They were fast and careful with my walls and new wood floors,they did a great job and I would use them again and highly recommend them to all our family and friends. Eagle van lines is one of the best moving experience I've ever had and I moved a few times already! Thank you Eli/Hector/Kay you guys did a really good job all around.

Best International Movers Use Eagle Van lines In New Jersey!. We serched all over for a good international mover as we were moving back to India after 18 years in America. I was referred to eagle by a friend that used them to move to Florida that were very happy with their services when I called and spoke with a nice man that set me up with an in house estimate for the very next day! We met with Eli and he was very nice gentle man with a booming jolly vioce.When he sat with us after going over all the rooms (we have 3 bedrooms) First he told me the best way to save money would be consolidating some furniture and items to take less space ,he gave me a lot of great ideas that I really should have thought about.Before Eli left our house he had our deposit and on move day the group that showed up did a fantastic job ,they packed the few things that we could not and were very carefull with our stuff. it got to India with in the time frame given and all in one piece! No Damages!! Nothing Missing!! Every thing a okay!! This is the best company to use if you are moving becuse with all the stress that comes with moving Eagle van lines helpped us have a stressless move!!! I Applaud Eagle van Lines!!!

Good moving company with reasonable prices. Getting a mover that will not try to run the bill with added charges is really hard especially in NY. When I called eagle van lines I spoke with Hector which gave me a estimate over the phone then requested to send an estimator to my house. Eli came within a few days and his estimate was not much different than what I had gotten from hector. I choose them because of their professional way the estimate was done I figured if this is how they do everything then the move would go smoothly which it did! I was very happy when they showed up on time (clean) and with a company truck (not some rental). The guys that Eli sent to my house were a nice group of men,all 4 of them were fast,careful,

and did a great job (no slackers there!) It was even done in the estimated amount of time (which surprised me, thought it would of taken longer) The price was right on budget and I would not hesitate to call eagle van lines if I were to move.I thank you all for the great services and customer care you guys were just wonderful! Thank you and here is the review I promised I'd write if you did what you promised on move day.

Good job moving!!. I got moving quote from the other company but when they came to move my stuff the price went up twice as much as promised... I was so upset and tried to look for other moving company online that day. Many of them contacted me back but only Eli from Eagle Van lines came to estimate the price at my place with flat rate quote.

The movers came to move our stuff next day. They did a very good job packing. Since we didn't have the destination address yet, they put our stuff in the storage for a couple weeks. We later called them to move our stuff to our new address. The only reason we didn't rate 5 stars is because it took about 3-4 days longer than we expected... Overall, very friendly and professional!

When You use a good mover you'll write a review. Looking for a mover on line was easy, and with Thumbtack it was even easier! I was able to have a estimator come and see me within a 28 hour notice! When I contacted Hector he went over a lot of the basics with me and gave me a good ballpark figure.He told me it was best to have his Consultant come and see my shipment and give me a more accurate quote.Hector then connected me to Eli (which I later found out he owns Eagle) Eli was very professional as well and was able to give me what he called a binding cost for services. This locks the company into not being able to go over the estimate by 10% of the estimated cost! That was awesome! When I got my final bill, it was not even over by 4 % which was really awesome! The movers themselves were also very professional and hard workers (they all spoke english!) I was not surprised at how well the job was handled, I was given every answer and told everything before hand.They do have one of the best moving companies in the tri state and they are movers you can trust (They ... and with Thumbtack it was even easier!
