Ten's Cabaret: A great experience. There are a lot of clubs in the city, but this is by far my favorite. It still has class and standards, even more so recently. I can confidently say that you will have to really work to not have a good time here.

Door: $30 after hours, free before?

Drinks: What you would expect in a club.

Servers are attentive and pretty, and wear a uniform tight black dress which is a bonus. All are sweet and on top of it, not a lot of pressure which is a relief from other city clubs.

Girls: Good Variety, all very fit. Tight bodies, and mostly natural too. No cheap looking costumes either

Dances run $20 for a song, not really a hustling group either, but there are a few. Most times they let you drink and relax if you're with friends, and come over when you're ready for a topless, medium contact dance. None seemed afraid to keep eye contact, and the conversation was everywhere from light and humorous, to interesting and intelligent- no joke!

Private rooms are a bit steep, but worthwhile if you find the girl you're looking for. You probably will.

Second time I came in with a friend who hates these places, he ended up with a really sweet, really hot girl for the entire 3 hours we were there, laughing, joking and raving about the time he had afterwards.

Everyone, from the doormen to the dancers, the private room host (who is gorgeous and flirtatious on her own) to the bouncers are DOWN TO EARTH. That's new.

It is what it is, but at least they recognize that and work with it well.

To me, every time that I've been here has been relaxed but satisfying, and pretty friendly in comparison to everywhere else I've spent money and time (Hustler, Penthouse, Sapphire's, and Flashdancers).

Best days to go are Wednesday and the weekend I would say, the only days I've ever gone.

So far it's been nothing but good times, looking forward to going back.

Try Confidence Beauty. I got the worst wax EVER at Ten's Cabaret. It was painful and the waxer was downright rude. creepy. I could not agree more with the review that " bitter for a reason " wrote , seriously you can get your money`s worth somewhere else , the girls dont get paid so they have an attitude , and there is no decent looking girl ...most of them are junkies and lots of STUFF happens in the back rooms ... the manager is a dog , like literary a mean and unhappy person , his name is STEVE --- BIG BOLD AND WITH A FAKE LEG he`s a piece a doodoo ...

DONT GO TO THAT PLACE , YOU WILL GET A RASH JUST BY SITTING THERE .

Addendum to Eddie Merckx previous post...

You have it right Eddie, here is why.

Part 1...

Any club like this has to give something to the "big boys". Instead of directly paying the mob, the security job and bouncer jobs are given mostly to the mafia's little guys. Hence their overly-aggressiveness.

This club is vampiristic of its customers out of necessity.

It's manager/owner, Paul Coppa, is only a strawman owner. As a club that was making 2 million dollars + a year was sold to him for $125,000 through the efforts of the club's lawyer, Steve Schaeffer (who had to illegally backdate sale documents in order to prevent confiscation of club by authorities prosecuting the club's real owner).

It's original and present "hidden" owner, Lawrence (Larry) La Spina had to do this because he was going to prison for bribery and stealing 15 million + dollars from the IBM company. These ill gotten gains are what allowed him to buy the club, originally Stringfellows, and fix it up as Ten's in the first place. So IBM and the IRS (unpaid taxes) would be grabbing this club as an asset, particularly seeing how they each have a judgment against Larry La Spina for over 1million + dollars each. This is why the strawman sale had to take place around year 2000. (try Google search...Laspina and IBM...its all there.)

This meant lots of legal fees for the criminal court case. As La Spina had hired Ron Kuby and a few other high priced attorneys to try to keep him out of jail. Most of that money was club profits, which results in more aggressive tactics to squeeze the customer.

La Spina spent six and a half years in prison and was just released late 2008. So now he will be improving the operations over the monkey brain that does now. Whether he will have the club resold back to himself remains to be seen.

pretty girls, nice atmosphere, good music & drinks are fine. I LOVED IT! I won't say it's the best strip bar ever but it was very close to it!

girls are smart, they going to have a conversation first, before ask you if you would like a dance, which is very sensative, they dancing infront of you, then they getting close to you, and u can feel this hot young warm body next to you, and i can say i fell in love couple times this evening! girls are all over the world, very different types, from hot brazillians to georgeous russians.. i liked it a lot.. oh and massage was really awesome!

WORST OF THE WORST. DON'T WORK HERE IF YOU HAVE BILLS TO PAY!!! THEY NEVER PAY THEIR WORKERS AND IF & WHEN THEY DO GIVE YOU A CHECK IT BOUNCES!!!! NOT WORTH IT... FOR PATRONS MOST OF THE GIRLS (DANCERS) ARE OVER WEIGHT & ARE LOADED WITH PROBLEMS, MOSTLY SUBSTANCE ABSE AND OR UGLY & AGGRESSIVE...ONE IS CROSS EYED BUCK TOOTHED AND HAS A BIGGER GUT THAN THE MICHELIN MAN (ALSO RIDDLED WITH CELLULITE) BEST LOOKING WOMEN ARE THE WAITRESSES, BARTENDERS & MASSAGE GIRLS. IF YOU BUY FUNNY MONEY YOU WILL BE TREATED LIKE A LEPER... BRING CASH OR NO ONE WILL TALK TO YOU!!! MANAGER IS A SCHEMER... RIPS OFF CUSTOMERS & THEN HE'S RUDE & THROWS THEM OUT! BACHELOR PARTY - GET AGREEMENT IN WRITING. Let me start off by saying I'm a female & I have been planning my best buds (male) party for a few months now. After "researching" a few popular spots in NYC I decided on Tens because the atmosphere, females & people I dealt with seemed right for my best bud & our male friends. I spoke with at least 3 different people, on at least 6 different occasions, and I got a guided tour with what I thought was a full explanation of the "packages/deals" they had available. I SHOULD HAVE GONE WITH MY INTUITION & GOT IT IN WRITING!! I say this because the night of the party, they went back on their word and tried to get two an extra $240.00 from me!!! It was obvious that they haven't dealt with a strong chic before because there was no way that I was going to pay the extra dough for their mistake or rather "sudden change in policy"!! I HAD THE FEELING THIS KIND OF MISUNDERSTANDING HAPPENS MORE OFTEN THAN NOT!! After several "conversations" back and forth I agreed to pay 1/2 and they agreed to add free shots, a free roasting (which I was planning to pay $200 for) and an extended hour of free drinks. Of course the extended hour was only 40 mins because the big RUDE blockhead inside wouldn't accept the deal the nicer muscle head had given me. So we left.

And if it wasn't for their stupidity and lack of willingness to HONOR THEIR WORDS, I would give it at least 3.5 - 4 stars. The music was great, the women were beautiful and fun - a couple were pushy but for the most part they were cool. The doorman was gracious, even during my ranting. It is true that the masseuse & waitresses are hotter than the girls, I think we all wanted a dance from one or two. The drinks kinda sucked, I have five including a shot & barely got a buzz - STICK TO THE BEER THEY CAN'T WATER IT DOWN!!!

AGAIN, IF THEY HADN'T P*SSED ME OFF ON WHAT SHOULD HAVE BEEN AN AWESOME ALL BOY PLUS 1 GIRL NIGHT OUT, I WOULD DEFINITELY GO BACK WITH MY HUBBY & FRIENDS (MARRIED & SINGLE) TO DROP SOME DOUGH FOR DANCES!!

ten's is creepy. While it seems slick at first, there's something creepy about this place. It starts with the bouncers - as long as you bow and scrape to them, you'll be ok, but don't cross them, or you might end up missing a limb or two. The whole tone of the place seems not quite right, like there's something going on that you're not supposed to know about.

Perfect Ten. I live in New York City, and this is by far the top club in the 5 boroughs. The doormen were gentlemen, the management handled my crew and I with class and the girls were not to pushy. The name of the joint explains it all, every girl in there is a perfect ten. The one problem I had was with the drink prices, but who am I kidding? Its manhatten, expect to pay big money for anything. And at this place? Everything is worth it.

true class. for great girls and fun, I recommend this club on any Thurs, Fri, Sat - a bit more intimate in the beginning of the week. Great new management and staff. Drinks a bit pricey, but all stip clubs are. Also great music and my associates and I really liked the vibe.
