The Scene
Lindsay Cain used to just make jewelry for herself, re-creating the styles she'd see on Madison for a lot less cash. But when friends started commissioning items--and one shop maven offered to buy a piece right off Cain's neck--the young New Yorker opened up her own boutique.
The Goods
One section of the relaxed space features stylish jewelry by Cain and a few other designers. On the other side lies the real fun: Bowls of unique pendants, semi-precious stones in every conceivable shape and hue, cases of shiny beads--it's all yours to mix and match, and all surprisingly affordable. Sit at the communal table and play, re-interpreting that choker from "In Style" or stringing-up the bracelet of your dreams, or just pull your choices and have a friendly staff member do the grunt work. Either way, you're sure to walk out with a one-of-a kind.
