Editorial Review for Social – by Meg Duffy
In Short
On the first floor, exposed brick walls and dimly lit chandeliers lend a bit of class, while the four big screen televisions solidify Social's neighborhood status. After work, the sounds of hip-hop and pop competes with the chatter of 20- to 40-somethings. Venture to the second and third floors for more drinking options, or to the fourth floor, Fusion, for lounging. Ten tap beers, 13 bottle beers, wine and mixed drinks are served, plus an affordable food menu.

I frequent social often, and whenever I'm there, whether it be with some friends or co-workers, we are always treated with such politeness. I've noticed some new staff working there, and they're very personable and attentive. I always have a great time when I visit -- the food is tasty, the drinks are priced just right (especially since everything else seems to be costly), and the overall atmosphere is very laid-back and casual. There's none of this pretentiousness, as is the case in other places. And the music is great, too -- a mix of all sorts of stuff, which is nice. If you're looking for something different, and want to feel at home, then this is your place -- one will not be disappointed.
Pros: Attentiveness, Drinks, Food, Location
