This is a spa?!?. I just don't understand how this place got so many good reviews or is, in fact, called a spa? I went there with a friend of mine for spa week. When we arrived we thought we had the wrong address. This place looks like a cross between a dr's office and a laundromat. This is not a spa!

We canceled our appointment on the spot.

So disappointed!

Highly Recommended.. After hurting my back during a game last month I want to cure it as fast as I can, because pain was too much to bear. I took a whole week off from my job. Somehow I saw on TV an impressive presentation on acupuncture. I was excited to find some quality treatments. A friend of mine suggested Green Tea Spa. I booked an appointment.

.

I had a very good experience. My therapist was not only an acupuncturist she was also a Massage therapist. She and her staff seemed warm and welcoming, and happily answered all my questions and put me at ease.

I had total four session of acupuncture at green tea, and after fourth sessions my pain was totally gone.

Now I highly recommend this place to all my coworker and friends.

Defiinitely no wow factor. Before actually checking out this spa, I read some of the reviews, but they were not right. This is a very small spa.

You can't say it spa it is a massage parlor, definitely no "Wow factor" here. The photos of the place on the web make it look much prettier than it is, which is deceiving. Massage is OK,but not great. Language is big barrier, no one speaks or understands English, only the rates are good.

Absolute Best Massage Experience in NYC. Of all my many years living in New York City, I have tried many different types of massage techniques and locations. Green Tea Massage & Spa is without a doubt THE best I have ever been to, offering excellent massage using various techniques at extremely reasonable prices, courteous and friendly staff, and very comfortable accommodations. They have a no-frills type of environment, which I actually liked, but more than make up for it in talent and attitude. Every one of the massage staff I had there was extremely knowledgeable, gave a great massage and was always concerned with your comfort level, taking precautions not to overtax your body's physical limits. They try very hard to adjust to your busy schedule and are always ready when you arrive, with no waiting any time I have ever been there, even without making an appointment. Every time I have left after my massage, I have felt wonderful and look forward to going back again. I highly recommend you try Green Tea.

strong hands warm hearts. WOW!!

Had a long full court game of basketball and everything hurt! 90 minutes latter and I thought about playing some more. My wife has been to this Message Mecca that she said it was a "diamond in the rough" great message very affordable and easy to get appointments. They speak English pretty well and understood every single request. This is not the RED DOOR spa but a much better message!

pretty good bodywork - but kinda 'eh'. So, I feel kinda mixed about this place. It was my first experience getting bodywork from an Asian bodywork salon. I would say, overall, the bodywork was pretty good - his modality was Tui Na, and I do like Tui Na. He was a bit rough, in that he applied too much pressure a lot of the time, and I had to ask him to lighten up a number of times, but he doesn't really understand English very well, so the language barrier was a challenge.. He did apply force along the spinal processes of my vertebrae, which is considered to be a major 'No No' and it was uncomfortable at times.... But his skill was pretty high, and he did a pretty thorough and fairly intensely deep job of the bodywork. I went into a very altered and relaxed place, and did a lot of deep breathing to keep moving the energy through. It was intense! So, overall, for a massage, it took me to the place that I seek to get to.. Definitely a good therapeutic massage.

The space itself, was not a spa. There's nothing spa like about it. There's thin little walls separating each tiny little space for the massages, which are draped off with curtains. The bodywork is cheap, which I do appreciate, but I guess that meant that the environment was cheap too. It lacked aesthetics and it wasn't clean or pretty... Plus, the language barrier, which was confusing and challenging.

If I focus just on the bodywork, I'd say it was pretty good and definitely grateful that it was so affordable... But overall, including the environment, I'd give it an 'eh'.... That's my 2 cents..

Best massage in new york city. Ultimately the best massage i have ever gotten. Green Tea trains very well. My massuese knew all the right pressure points and applied just the right amount of pressure. It was great! I left feeling loose and relaxed. Service and staff is great and you can not beat the prices!

Try it for yourself you won’t be disappointed.. Recently I went to Green Tea Spa for the first time after reading so many good reviews I decided to visit this place and have a massage and facial, what I found was amazing and loved it! Masseuse was really trained to help me get rid of my aches and knots. I had nothing but a very good experience. This is a really cool and a fantastic place. I would not hesitate to recommend it to all my friends and family. I left very satisfied. I look forward to visiting this place over and over again whenever I get chance. Try it for yourself you won’t be disappointed. I must say I loved my experience at Green Tea Spa.
