Latin food and drinks dominate the menu, while Chinese fabrics and lantern lights add a touch of the Orient. Despite the bar's small size, the high ceiling gives an open feel, while an impressive array of tequila sits proudly behind the wooden bar. Bartenders use fresh juice for the margaritas, with sugared, not salted rims. Though most people come for drinks, the inexpensive tapas menu balances out the more pricey libations. The guacamole tastes as if it was made just before presentation, and the fish or chicken tacos offer tender tastes of Mexico.

This tiny little LES staple is my favorite Mexican place in NYC. Sure, its crowded, and you always have to wait for a table; i saw Sofia Coppola and her entourage turned away because the place was so full. But give your cell # to the friendly bar staff and head across the street to Little Giant for a warm up cocktail. The freshly prepared sangrita served with your Cazadores is worth the wait.

Crazy... i've been asked to wait an hour on a Monday night for a table at this place, and I would have done it if i didn't have to get up early for work. That's how good the drinks are- the jalapeno grapefruit margaritas are my favorite. The food is consistently good, and the atmosphere is always cozy and fun.

Went with a few friends for a low key weekend night. Knew the wait would be long, but persevered and whiled away at near by happy hours. Once seated, the staff were accommodating, courteous and efficient for the bustling pace & small space. Drinks were served quickly despite the crowd. The food and coconut mojitos were delicious! Also sampled a few of the magarita flavours and were not disappointed. Overall had a great night, recommended!
