The Scene
The disco lights and neon sign at the door undercut this otherwise chill space. What distinguishes Laugh Lounge from the masses is its twice-nightly comedy shows and the sincerely good service from both bartenders and club owners. Enter the red-and-black decorated space to be warmly greeted by the hostess and seated at one of 10 cushy black couches. The barkeep behind the small black bar actually smiles while mixing your choice of basic cocktails. Pre-show, the owner herself escorts patrons to their tables in the performance space downstairs.
The Draw
No-nonsense drinks and laid-back reggae (played at a decent, conversation-possible volume) make this bar an ideal post-work destination, even if you're not a comedy fan. Neighborhood regulars take the best seats along the back wall, facing a montage of vintage comedy albums (including Bill Cosby and Billy Crystal's first recordings).

I have been to the Laugh Lounge numerous times, and have never been disappointed. The drinks are strong and the comedians are hilarious.
Pros: Everything.
Cons: The bathroom could be cleaner.

I would not go back to this venue. What is with all the attitude?I hope others have a better time there than i did.
