Leather Alterations

Last winter I fell in love with a leather sherling coat and I could not help buying it, even though the sleeves were a bit long on me. A friend recommended them for laundry and drycleaning, so I call them to see if this was something they could do. They told me it would take one week to complete the work. The coat came out great even though I am glad winter is in my rear view mirror. Great Job.

Water Stains- No Problem

A few weeks ago I called them to pickup a beige trenchcoat that was heavily stained. The stains were courtesy of a yellowcab splashing dirty rainwater on me while I was walking to the subway. They informed me that the turnaround time would be longer than usual due to the nature of stains. When I got it back, it was good as new.

INCOMPETENT. LIARS. BE WARNED.

These people are incompetent and LIARS. They damaged my clothes and made no apologies for it. Ruined my dress shirt. Big mistake! Never again. Not only do they not know how to clean your clothes, they have HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. They don't remember when you scheduled a pick up or a drop off and when things go wrong, they take no accountability for anything that goes wrong with your clothes.

Also they do not have a store front in the Manhattan address listed here. They are located in East Elmhurst Queens. That should tell you something right away.

Be warned.

not so great as it seems

The service I received was unbelievably bad. I dropped off four items for dry cleaning and only three were returned to me. One of those three items was a brand new sweater which I had worn twice. It was returned to me with a hole on one side and a spot on the other. When I pointed out these issues, I was told I must be mistaken because this just doesn't happen. There are other reviews on this site that mention a lost item, so clearly such things happen. I strongly recommend you find another dry cleaner. I will not use this place again.

Special Care

I have my authentic Indian dresses and other cleaners have either turned me down or ruined parts of it. Iris Cleaners took on the task and return my dresses without any damage while removing the stains! They are my cleaners.
