The Scene
Step past the Ferraris parked out front and make your way into the candlelit lounge and dining room, where tanned scenesters sip spendy cocktails and pose in their designer duds. DJs spin pulsing house music, and there's an unabashed "look at me" vibe throughout, encouraged only by the Versace micro-skirt uniforms female servers wear, which come dangerously close to revealing a bit too much.
The Food
Diners are prompted to order several shareable dishes which, considering the food isn't what's drawing most of the crowd, are surprisingly good. Atkins devotees should opt for the hanger steak, perfectly tender and nicely balanced by a tangle of fresh herbs, or the seared yellowfin tuna with vibrant minted mango. A stunningly rich mix of blue and goat cheeses tops the two mini-burgers; the "club"--celery, salmon and potato, topped with caviar dressing--is another very good choice.

Look GoodThe oyster and champagne bar holds 40, or host your private party for up to 70 in the sexy cellar downstairs. Of course, VIPs can hold court in their own elevated lounge just off of the main bar area.

Took my boyfriend there for his birthday. The food and drinks were excellent. The apple cinnamon fondue is to die for. Great decor. The music was good and the seats were extra comfy. Can't wait to go back
Pros: Everything!
Cons: There's no valet parking. Parking is a pain around there.

I visited One twice on a recent trip to NYC, both nights the music was good, and the drinks were mixed perfectly. We were especially glad to see that this place was open and packed on a Sunday night, good luck finding that anywhere else in the MP Distict. Would go back for sure!
Pros: You dont have to pay for bottle service to have a decent dance area..
