These days, Marquee is spicing things up with nightlife impresario Susanne Bartsch's wild Catwalk Thursdays. The usual round of house dj's fill out Fridays and Saturdays. Bring your credit card and be prepared to spend.

Rude Doormen. Unless you are a known celebrity, or a 6'0 blonde, don't bother. My friends go there frequently (used to, anyway), made reservations for two tables (I believe that's a 5-6 bottle minimum), so we were on the guest list. Apparently, that isn't enough, if you don't have 5 girls for every guy. Note to management: Get a life. There are plenty other "in" places in the city. If you have a guest list, stick to it, otherwise, why bother? We were told that being on the guest list, doesn't guarantee you get in. I hope the doormen enjoy their year of glory, b/c soon Marquee will lose its appeal. Treat people how you would like to be treated. Turning away a sure $2,000 for celebrity models who don't pay will send this awful place into retirement sooner than most...

definitely recommended. My friends and I always have the best time here! Yes, it is sometimes a little hard to get in but once you get to know the door guys it gets easier. My only complaint would be that sometimes it seems that the door people let in more girls than guys but that is sort of good because it is definitely not a meat market. A really good vibe - I love this place.

HOT. I was there on wednesay night for Bastille day and there were so many celebrities - Chloe Sevigny, Ryan Gossling. It was such a great crowd. Highly recommended. Wednesdays are definitely the night to go.

hot hot hot.
I had a great time at this place. I know they said there was no guest list on the weekends, but what did I expect.. them to let me in for free?? We paid a few dollars to go in and it was well worth it!!!!
I even had a friend who had a table and we got to sit around with them and dance. My other friend lost her phone and the girl that works in the office went above and beyond to help us get it back.
Great place and we go once a week now!!!

Disgusted!. I ventured to marquee on July 4th with a group of friends that were visitng from England and was absolutely disgusted with this place. We went based on the fact that GBH were the promoters that night, they are known to be laid back and easy going so i thought since we were on the guest list it wouldn't be a problem getting in. We were two pretty girls and 4 guys (all on the guest list) and the doorman held us up for ages until he finally said there is NO way i'm letting you all in, which was incedibly rude and un called for, not to mention embarassing as i'd brought guests from overseas. I will never atempt to re-visit this club EVER again. DON'T BOTHER WASTING YOUR TIME!!

sad. wow... i guess there's just no good nightlife left in this city.... marquee's crowd is a mix of bridge and tunnel, rude managers / door staff and hosts... not to mention a dreadful sound system and decor. the fact that they can enforce bottle service and look busy just shows how lame their patrons really are.

sad but true.... For a venue that prides itself on being a notch above... I found it classless that they cancelled the table reservation of my boss after 9pm the night of. We arrived to find a doorman that took one look at us and judged us to be not worthy of coming in even though we had a table reservation. I found it disrespectful that this an unkempt individual at the door turned away and embarassed a gentle man I respect and look up to, a man who planned this night for weeks to show his appreciation to us. Shame on you... Shame on you...

MORE THAN WORDS.
I've been going out in New York for years, and this club far surpassed my expectations. Yea, everyone inside is extremely beautiful but my friends and I were able to go to the bar and dance in the middle of the dance floor and not lose eachother.
It has the big club feeling but it's not so big. I've been back and sat at a table and wasn't appaled when the bill came. I thought my server was really fun and cute and it was overall a great time!

This establishment would. probably do better if they ceased telling their patrons that their friends are not "pretty" enough to get in. One can find repulsive, classless, gauche behaviour like this only in NYC!
