In Short – Styled to evoke the feel of a Parisian café, the focal point of each restaurant is an open-flame stone oven, which swiftly turns out thin-crust pizzas, made-to-order panini and open-faced melts on Roman-style flat bread. Fresh ingredients--including mozzarella, tomatoes, buffalo chicken and secret-recipe dressings--are used in both the sandwiches and the long list of specialty salads. Great for Lunch

I have one thing I stick to here, The Cosi SIgnature Salad. Mixed greens with pistachios, cranberries etc, it's not your usual salad. It's paired up with an amazing Sherry Shallot dressing. Yum. And I can't forget the bread. Fresh baked flat bread, it's amazing. Really. You need to try it if you haven't. Warning: it gets very crowded during lunch time, but hey it's the city.

Terrible service

The scene is a packed Cosi with a line for everything - ordering a salad, ordering a sandwich, paying, picking up your drink. It's a mobscene. But ordering was the worst part. I asked for a greek salad without onions. What did I get? Lettuce, onions, tomatoes and olives. I speak up - I can't have onions (as it says on the card they filled out). They throw it away and start again. What did I get on Try #2? Lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers. They didn't put in the olives or feta cheese (as the greek salad calls for). When I said something (again), they threw the ingredients in. I only noticed after I brought it back to my office that they gave me parmasan cheese instead of feta. In short, if you want what you ordered, don't go to this Cosi.
