I like to go to this bar on weekend mornings to watch the Everton F.C. Premier league games. They have about 5 large thin-screen tv's along 2 walls, which makes watching different games simultaneously quite possible. The bartender and waitresses are always on top of getting peoples drinks and food, always checking to see if we want another when our glasses are empty. The food is delicious. I have had a hard time finding Fish 'n Chips that comes close to the crunchy batter found in the local chippy in England. Mr. Dennehy's comes very close and rounds out a lovely meal with crunchy, thin, seasoned fries. The atmosphere is lovely, the decor gorgeous wood, kept highly polished. rounding out a good deal: the prices are really reasonable for a New York City brunch .
Pros: welcoming staff, wonderful food, several large and clear TV's, extensive drink selection.
Cons: single restrooms could be a problem when busy

My friend lives upstairs from the bar, and frequents it all the time. So last night, looking for a low key neighborhood evening, a group of us girls got a table and were enjoying ourselves having a few drinks. About 2 hours later I walk to the restroom, only to be intercepted by a man telling me I can't use it. He went on to say that only customers can use the restrooms. I explained that I was a customer and have been sitting at a table for quite a while (pointing at the table where my friends are sitting). I had to actually walk him to the table to show him my purse to prove that I was a customer. After asking a waitress who the disrespectful man was, she informed me he was the owner. We gathered our things and walked out, in utter disbelief, that the owner was able to treat his patrons so rudely without a blink of the eye. Unbelievable.
Pros: Used to have a few, all went out the door last night...
Cons: Where do I start....
