Funny, I have been referring to Dr. Ward for over ten years, and I have never heard anything but wonderful accolades from my patients about Dr. Ward and that is why I send my oral surgery to him. He is a fantastic surgeon, class act, highly ethical and has a wonderful bedside mannor. And it is intresting that the only negative comment in ten years happens to coincide with him leaving his old offce and partner and moving to a prestigious area where he belongs. Well done Dr. Ward. I will continue to send my wonderful patients to you and your new office.

I had seen Dr. Ward for an emergency because Dr. Klein was unavailable and he was just ok, but when i had to have my followup i was surprise that i had to go to his new office. His old office was so much nicer and the service was so much better.. and i hate to say it, so was Dr. Klein. Next time I will go back to Dr. Klein and get a great doctor and great service. Sorry Dr. Ward, you shouldn't have moved.

Excellent Oral Surgeon. Very approachable. He is humbly confident and explained everything. Likes to talk which is a good thing. He placed 4 dental implants in my upper jaw under anesthesia and I didn't feel a thing. He was able to place implants where other dentist and surgeons were unable to. Very good qualifications. Highly recommend!

Superior Oral/Maxillofacial Surgeon!!A. Dr. Ward is phenomenal!. Felt no pain. Very well educated guy and can converse at any level.!!!Surgically superior. My internest(PMD) referred me to Dr. Ward and he was right. It turns out that he is an attending at New York Presbyterian Hospital and treats the most complicated cases. Hard to get an appointment. He is not from one of those half ass schools. The medical community really respects him.

Fantastic Doctor. Dr. Ward was fantastic. I had slipped on some ice near my apartment, fell and landed on my chin. My teeth didn't come together. I was referred to Dr. Ward by my ENT for evaluation. Dr. Ward was able to fit me into his schedule the following day. He took a cat scan in his office and determined I had broken my jaw. Later that day he sedated me and wired my jaws together in his office.

6 weeks later, I have just had my wires removed by Dr. ward and my teeth come together perfectly. I was unable to pay my copay and Dr. Ward waved my deductible otherwise I would not be able to pay my rent. He is truly caring, wonderful, and talented. I would highly recommend Dr. Ward. This is someone who cares. His office is new and beautiful, great staff and even though I broke my jaw, it was as good an experience as you can expect. Kudos to Dr. ward.

You're not just a statistic. Where a dentist's practice is becoming more of a business rather than patient and health care, Dr. Ward truly is the exception.

He made me feel like a person and not just another appointment to cross out on the calendar. He never rushes me, he listens as I gave him a rundown of my condition. He assures and converses. I don't feel like I'm a patient on a production line as I have often felt with other dentists.

He has the dental expertise (I could see how skilled he was with his instruments) and knew exactly how to perform the procedure with as minimal pain as possible.

Wish he were also a general dentist on top of an oral surgeon coz I would go to him for all my dental concerns!

The place to go for tooth extraction. It was over before I knew it. Dr Ward completely put me at ease with his easy going demeanor told me exactly what he was going to do, and what to expect and answered all of my questions fully. Pain was neither an issue during nor after. I highly recommend!

best oral surgeon in the city!. dr. ward instantly put me at ease although i was TERRIFIED (read: an adult that avoided going to the oral surgeon for YEARS after it was initially recommended) to visit him. he is professional, kind, charismatic, and especially patient even with those of us that aren't exactly excited to be sitting in his chair. all four of my wisdom teeth needed to come out, and one of my wisdom teeth would be an especially arduous extraction. dr. ward recommended only having one side done at a time in case i had difficulty recovering. he did the most troublesome side first, just two days ago, and it was soooo much less of an ordeal than i had been expecting, solely due to the exceedingly adept talent of dr. ward.

not only is dr. ward amazing, but his entire staff is also warm and willing to go out of their way to make patients comfortable. they even found a way to move my surgery up a day because i was terrified i would chicken out if i had to wait any longer.

don't put off going to the oral surgeon any longer. book an appt. with dr. ward and be done with it. i'm SO glad to be halfway done with this. as soon as i'm healed, i'm immediately going back to have the other side done and this time, with NO hesitation!

Great Oral Surgeon. I saw Dr. Desmond J. Ward for a bump on my mouth, just under my tongue. It was there for a month and it did not go away. Once Dr. Ward examined me, he insisted I have a biopsy. The biopsy turned out to be oral cancer. Dr. Ward called me when he received the results , had me come into the office and discuss the result and had already called a cancer specialist that I went to see. This was all done within 5 days. If it were not for Dr. Ward's caring and professionalism, I could still be walking around with cancer today. I owe him alot. Wonderful doctor, professional, caring. Someone whom I would most highly recommend as a person and as a doctor.
