I'm not one that enjoys going to the Dentist, I have had many nightmare experiences as a kid as well as in my early 20?s. I have been going to Dr. Michael Wei since 2003. I was very hesitant at first but as soon as I met him for the first time all my fears and discomforts were lifted. He truly makes your experience there a very welcoming one. He puts you first in all of your concerns and makes you feel comfortable. I've never been so comfortable and relaxed in my life when going to a dentist until I met Dr. Wei. He genuinely cares about your fears and concerns and takes his time to make you feel calm and explains in detail what is needed. He is the Michael Angelo of Dentristry, the before and after shots of your smile truly makes you more confident and secure of yourself. I recommend my friends and everyone to use him as your primary Dentist, you will regret it if you don't. Dr. Wei is someone you can trust which is hard to find in NYC.

Great Dentist, Very Friendly!. I usually fear going to a dentist, but Dr. Wei truly makes it a comfortable experience. Dr. Wei is a great dentist. He is a very attentive, thorough, and caring dentist. He takes the time to explain every step of the process of the procedures and completely takes the fear out of going to the dentist. He puts you at ease and always make sure that every procedure is done with the utmost care and attention. His office is clean, comfortable and modern with reasonable fees. He genuinely cares about your oral health and his staff are always very courteous and professional. I know how difficult it is to find a good dentist considering how many people fear it. If you looking for a new dentist I highly recommend him.

One of the Country's Best Dentists!. Dr. Wei is more than a dentist. He is an artist! He takes great care in giving his patients great service. I say that he is an artist because he is very meticulous in making sure that his patients leave with nothing less than a great smile. I think he views the patient's mouth like an artist's canvas and wants to create the perfect smile every time.

When you also consider that he offers in house financing and new cutting edge cosmetic procedures not found in other dental offices it's easy to see why he is considered one of the best dentists in the country! Numerous national dental awards validate all of his talent! And last but not least, he is also a nice guy!

Great Dentist. Highly recommended. Dr Wei gave me a new smile!!

I'd avoided going to dentists for years and my teeth were in pretty bad shape. I had severe crowding and, as it turned out, a crossbite too. I originally went in wanting Porcelean veneers as the easiest and quickest way to fix my smile. However even though the veneers were the more expensive route Dr Wei said this wasn't the best option for me and instead suggested I try invisalign.

He took a long time to explain all the options and gave me an honest opinion of the best route of treatment, Well 10 months later the results are incredible and I'm so happy. I'm now comfortable smiling again, I also had a number of fillings and a clean. The staff are extremely friendly and Dr Wei is an extremely personable, caring, competant dentist.

I would (and have) recommended him to anyone.

Excellent Dentist. Dr. Wei is an excellent dentist he takes the time to explain all procedures for you and is very gentle. I neglected my teeth for many years because I had a phobia of sitting in the dentist's chair. Dr. Wei came very highly recommended and I am so happy to have finally found a dentist that is knowledgeable, patient and gentle someone I can trust. Great dentist. I hate going to any doctors and my last dentist was not the most pleasant experience. She would get mad at me because she said my tongue was wild and would get in the way of her fixing my teeth. Not the case with Dr. Wei, never had a problem with him, either he has the skills that my former Dentist did not or my tongue shrank. I dunno know but might be that Dr. Wei likes to keep up with the latest techonolgies and technique with dental care playing a factor.

The best smile makeovers. I came to Dr. Wei looking to replace my existing incisor porcelain veneers that were placed about ten years ago by another dentist. I was dissatisfied with the old veneers because the proportions were off and they were not properly aligned with the rest of my teeth. I felt this was most noticeable in pictures, and had always been uncomfortable smiling in front of the camera. I'm so thankful for Dr. Wei! He had great ideas, was sensitive to my budget constraints, and he and his staff always provided compassionate care. The final result was exactly what I wanted! I now feel like I have a smile I can be proud of!

Very Professional Dentist. I usually fear going to a dentist, but Dr. Wei truly makes it a comfortable experience. He is very informative about what the situation is with your teeth and when a procedure is performed he is very sensative. I've been to some bad dentists in the past who do not seem very caring, but he definitely makes sure you are comfortable in the seat. If you feel the slightest discomfort he informs you to raise your hand immediately and stop, but during my cavity filling everything was perfect and smooth. His staff is just as kind and the service is great. I got to my appointment at 5pm and I got taken care of right away with no wait. You can't substitute for service like that these days plus the abilities of Dr. Wei who knows exactly what he's doing and explains every situation to you. If you are looking for a new dentist I highly recommend him. I know how difficult it is to find a good dentist considering how many people fear it. I now plan on going to him going forward and don't plan to stop!

Love my smile!. Had a smile makeover after years of discoloration. Very happy and pleased with results and the efforts of Dr. Wei. Good explanations of the procedures and answer all my concerns and questions. I checked around for prices and it was very reasonable compared to the other Manhattan's dentists. I feel great and will refer your services to everyone I know. Highly Recommend!

Great Dentist!. Dr. Wei has been my dentist for 4 years now and I've not had an appointment anything shy of wonderful with him. I moved to the city after school and had to develop a network of the basics which included a dentist. A co-worker suggested Dr. Wei and given his close proximity to my work, I figured I'd give him a shot. I'd only ever been to one dentist in my life and had always had a slight fear of dentist visits growing up so I was extremely nervous stepping into an unknown office for the first time. Dr. Wei and his staff did an exceptional job of making me feel comfortable and explaining everything along the way. He works hard to have the most innovative equipment and techniques employed in his practice and as a result offers an exceptional visit every time. I've now had both bi-yearly cleanings and some structural work done by Dr. Wei and have had no issues whatsoever. Best of all, I'm developing a comfort in the dentists' chair I've never experienced before. I would highly recommend anyone trying Dr. Wei one time, because I'm confident they will be back.
