The Scene – Simple, modern decor pervades this vast 18,000-square-foot nightlife multiplex. The sheer luxury of the space is made more apparent by its lack of frou-frou ambience. A blue-lit, spaceship-like ceiling fixture and a dramatic 45-foot glazed-oak bar separates the front lounge from the back rooms, which include an iron-doored VIP area, a DJ-manned dance floor rotating Top 40 tunes and a puffy, suede-canopied restaurant. –   – The Draw – A more relaxed, friendlier vibe separates BLVD from similar mega-club establishments, but there's still a strong singles…

Assh@le$ run this sorry excuse

by airama

This place really needs to get their act together. The "manager" or what ever the hell this guy is paid for at this lousy venue is the biggest loser I've ever encountered. Not to mention unprofessional. Band I saw there had dropped one of the house mics and this guy, as if it was the first show he'd ever seen, runs onstage and starts yelling at the band. Right as they finish, in front of everyone. Almost like this guy wanted all the attention focused on him. Probably because he's a talentless freak. The band really handled themselves well I must say. Then after that this guy stays onstage and just stands there as the next band is trying to set up. Doing nothing but oogling the girls in the band. Again attention whore. It really made for a weird vibe. The sound system might be good but who knows because the guy running it obviously had no idea what he was doing. It was like they just picked some guy off the street. Not only that the drinks are terrible. Overpriced and watered down. I remember when the Bowery was a great place to come see shows. Now this area is run by a bunch of old losers in business suits that have no clue how to run a music venue. And they yell at bands that bring people that bring money for the club. All they want is your money. Save your cash or go somewhere where they actually care about the bands and people. This place is scum.

  • Pros: leaving
  • Cons: douchebags working there, overpriced and watered down drinks

Classy Place For Great Events

by heyangelala

This is a great place to host events of just about any kind. I've been here a bunch of times for a bunch of different types of things, and the room never fails to make the event shine. The bar is great, the staffers are pleasant and professional, and while the prices aren't at the bottom of the barrel, the food & drinks are totally worth it.

  • Pros: classy, great bar, courteous waitstaff, food
  • Cons: not the cheapest bar ever

Good night out

by Yvette Ly

I came for Fusion Friday and it was really good. There was a line getting into the place but it moved quickly and was worth it. The music was good and there were comfy booths for us to relax. Overall (from what I can remember) it was a good night out... Can't wait for the Savage Men Party!!!

  • Pros: good music, vibe and driiiinks
