“The club BLVD has a unique atmosphere.”
“Luckily, the food was good, but we tried to order dessert and neither the hostess, nor the person who delivered our food would take the order (they claimed not to be our waiter).”
“The bar is great, the staffers are pleasant and professional, and while the prices aren't at the bottom of the barrel, the food & drinks are totally worth it.”

“The space is amazing; the staff is friendly, attentive, AND gorgeous; the music is just right with a great variety and DJs who will actually feel out the mood of the crowd; the door can be strict but only for the right reasons.”
“remember when the Bowery was a great place to come see shows.”
“love this place and would like to come back soon.”
“Bottom line, go to this place if you like poor service by rude staff and like to stand at the bar and look at the freaks!”
“The drinks were great and not too overpriced, VIP was area was down to earth, there were plenty of beautiful people, the DJ was on point and the staff was decent.”
“Service was extremely slow.”
love it!. i've gone to BLVD quite a few times and have always had a great time..the music is great, nice urban crowd, and a nice feel inside. I bought a bottle the last time i went and was taken care of right away. i would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a fun night out.
Fun place for girls night out. Love this place. I went to BLVD with my girl friends. And We bought couple of bottles. And we all had a blast. The music is great (Carribean Night). Our waiter was so sweet. I love this place and would like to come back soon.
Blvd. Last night we went to Blvd for the first time. The bouncers were nice, so was the bartender. I like the fact that they had couches for people, even if they werent VIP. The place was a bit small, but it did not get too crowded on the dance floor. Maybe because the DJ scared everyone off the dance floor. For the first hour and a half, not one single person was dancing. All the DJ played was Brazilian techno over and over and over again. SO LAME!! It was supposed to be "Latin night" but I didnt hear and salsa or merengue or batchata. Maybe he played old spanish music from the 90s because he was about 50 years old and looked like a school principle. Please fire this guy immiediatly!!! We are willing to revist Blvd on another night to give it another chance, but only if theres a different DJ.
Assh@le$ run this sorry excuse. This place really needs to get their act together. The "manager" or what ever the hell this guy is paid for at this lousy venue is the biggest loser I've ever encountered. Not to mention unprofessional. Band I saw there had dropped one of the house mics and this guy, as if it was the first show he'd ever seen, runs onstage and starts yelling at the band. Right as they finish, in front of everyone. Almost like this guy wanted all the attention focused on him. Probably because he's a talentless freak. The band really handled themselves well I must say. Then after that this guy stays onstage and just stands there as the next band is trying to set up. Doing nothing but oogling the girls in the band. Again attention whore. It really made for a weird vibe. The sound system might be good but who knows because the guy running it obviously had no idea what he was doing. It was like they just picked some guy off the street. Not only that the drinks are terrible. Overpriced and watered down. I remember when the Bowery was a great place to come see shows. Now this area is run by a bunch of old losers in business suits that have no clue how to run a music venue. And they yell at bands that bring people that bring money for the club. All they want is your money. Save your cash or go somewhere where they actually care about the bands and people. This place is scum.
Classy Place For Great Events. This is a great place to host events of just about any kind. I've been here a bunch of times for a bunch of different types of things, and the room never fails to make the event shine. The bar is great, the staffers are pleasant and professional, and while the prices aren't at the bottom of the barrel, the food & drinks are totally worth it.
Good night out. I came for Fusion Friday and it was really good. There was a line getting into the place but it moved quickly and was worth it. The music was good and there were comfy booths for us to relax. Overall (from what I can remember) it was a good night out... Can't wait for the Savage Men Party!!!
$140 tip on a $330 tab, WTH?. Watch your tab at this place. I signed without looking and it cost me $140 more than it should have. The waitress added the tip (in the fine print) and I left a tip on the table. She made $240 on my $330 tab and I cannot dispute because I signed. I called the manager the next day and they did nothing. What a rip and a scam. AVOID THIS PLACE.
Good Music, Long Line. There is a Hip Hop room and a Latin Room. Both seem to be "on and poppin" at all times once you get through the long line and coat check. It's a tough sell in the winter... Not really any seating, but the music is good, so hopefully you won't want to sit. The bartenders are nice and prompt, so that's a plus.
apparently they only own a 50 cent album....
This is where the cheap bachelorette parties and their buffalo bridesmaids roam. Standing in line waiting to pay to be frisked, one may notice a myriad of seasonally inappropriate dressed mamas- if you got it flaunt it, but if not, tuck it back into your Lane Bryant lingerie and call it a night. It was refreshing to see such a welcoming community of moms on their annual night out shaking their FUPA?s on LL Cool J wannabes.
Quotes from the evening that may best sum the locations vibe: ?If I saw my own brother here, I would lie and pretend that I was someone else, or try and pretend that I was the twin he didn?t know about.? ?I just met a very nice courtesan/ escort in the bathroom.? Would I go here again? Sadly, Yes, but only for scientific purposes to tag and mark the remarkable specimens. ?Notice the 7 foot woman as she gyrates her pelvis towards her 5?4 Latino cowboy with thumbs firmly hooked in his belt loops.? ?Observe the 45+ bedazzled woman grinding on her much older, greasier, sugar daddy, wearing a suit with black gym shoes that says to the world ?hey I am here to party!?
There were times when I would make eye contact with normal pockets of people in the crowd whom looked just as bewildered and confused, while no words were actually exchanged, we both were thinking the same thing..."lets get the hell out of here!"
They should rename this place club desperation..
They should rename this place club desperation. This is the worst club in the entire city!
Ok so the scene? imagine Long Island and Jersey have an ugly red headed step child and beat it with the ugly stick, yeah that would be an upgrade. The staff is rude, mandatory $4 coat check? wtf I don?t even want to be here, and you?re going to take my coat so I can?t run away?
O and drinks are way overpriced. Ordered around of drinks and the bartender makes it very clear that there is a $50 min on cards? yeah so im thinking ok well maybe the drinks aren?t that expensive, no the first round was $100. The bartender is either retarded or conning me, the later I suspect.
Bottom line, go to this place if you like poor service by rude staff and like to stand at the bar and look at the freaks! (sorry freaks but you know you were there and it was ummm disturbing)
