i was looking for a place to do my eyebrows, i had a big problem, i had no shape, tattoo only. when i came to exhale , to the famous eliza's eyes people, i hoped at least to have some recommendations, but i got hurt by comments about my appearance. it was horrible experience.By my lucky chance ,i found somebody else at the salon Mingle, and it happened to be that i got my eyebrows back with the help of people who care and know how to do it.

Exhale occupies a prime location across from Central Park. They offer an extensive menu of services and fitness classes and also have a well-stocked boutique. However, they always seem to be one step behind...too long of a line to check in or out, classes which are overbooked, poor customer service, etc. I have been going to Exhale for some time for brow waxing. I used to see a lovely, thorough, skilled woman named Julia. However, she is no longer with Exhale so last week I saw a woman named Ileana (sp?). It has been four days and I stil have bright red marks between my eye brows and lids. I think she put the wax way too low, as there is a good centimeter between my eye brows and the red archs on my face. I found her to be pushy ("you should dye your eye lashes...you need this eye pencil...what on earth happened HERE?") which I didn't appreciate. I also don't feel like she did a good job--she trimmed my brows post-waxing, leaving some hairs sticking out and others far too short. Especially given the price ($85), I do not recommend Exhale.
