The Scene – The smell of delicious flatbreads from the eponymous brick taboon oven adds a homey warmth to this neighborhood oasis. White brick walls and white-washed wooden tables keep the main dining room and bar feeling crisp and cool. The relaxed, professional servers encourage European-style lingering from groups and couples alike. – – The Food – The menu plays with cultural pairings, the most flavorful being the mezes. Best Seafood by far

The most amazing seafood I have ever eaten in a resturant. I had Sauteed Calamari served on a bed of shaved fennel & yogurt, delish, and the calamari was so tender, i wanted to order another dish. My husband had a fish dish I forgot the name, but will never forget the taste can't wait to go back I need to found out the name of that dish.
- Pros: everything

indifferent and arrogant

I am no stranger to Taboon. I have been going since they opened a few years ago. I always had great service and good food. That being said, I will never set foot in there again. I brought a friend whom had never been few nights ago and right off the bat the hostess was very rude. We didn?t have a reservation and she was pressuring us to be finished and out the door in an hour and a half. It took forever to get our food and the waitress never thought to apologize or let us know why it was taking so long. When it finally came, it was so salty I didn?t even want to finish it. For the amount of money you spend for a meal there, it is not worth your time and energy. This is the first time I?ve ever thought to post a review. I wanted people to know that this eatery is on a serious decline.
- Pros: ambience
- Cons: rude hostess, indifferent oweners

Went last week with my boyfriend and was pleasantly surprised by amazing service and delicious food. The hot bread and mediterranean plates were fantastic . This is without a doubt one of the hidden gems in the neighborhood. We'll be back soon. We also loved the wood burning oven!!
- Pros: food, service
- Cons: not near subway
