“The decor and layout of the place were not bad.”
“Yes, the decor works, DJ stinks, Bartenders aren't so good at making drinks and the busser.”
“Hiro is a great place if you like to dance freely without bumping into so many people.”
“The bartenders are so bad, it makes me never want to go back there again.”
“Once inside I made the way to the bar where I was treated to more rudeness by the WORST bartender I have ever encountered.”
“did not have huge expectations when first coming to Hiro, but was pleasantly surprised by the courteous staff, good music and spacious, cool interior.”

Worst Club in NYC. Worst club i have been to in my life. I have nothing good to say. Big waste of time got drunk and it still sucked
DONT GO IT SUCK THEY TREAT TABLES SERV LIKE TRASH. Every time i have been here its been ok the only problem people that run the door. So last night we had two tables and a bunch of girls i had my boy swing by and they would not let him in they then had the nerve to ask for 80$ to let him in. I almost hit that punk with the clear glasses that's the host there. Its like dude your not a boss the guy who owns the club is and your his minon so chill out haha. Plus the bar is a rip off but bottles are normal price. I am done with this club
AWESOME TIME!.
Hi City Searchers! Kelz here writing a review on one of the most exciting and fun times I've ever had in NY and this was at Hiro on Saturday the 6th of November. My girls & I are from upstate and wanted to experience a mega-club -as we heard that there were only a handful of large-sized clubs left in New York City.
With that being said, my bestie Cindy knows one of the coolest promoters in the city by the name of Kong from the Kong List . com -um, not sure if that's his real name but he is like the King Kong of Clubbing!
We met him outside, he escorted us in past a line that stretched all the way down the block and showed us to a fantastico time! Not only because we drank for free (hee! hee!) but the place is what we were so-looking for...great djs with the latest music, dancers, fire-eaters and trapeze artists! What more can you ask for?
Hiro is the BEST!. I've been to Hiro over 5 times in the past year (mainly on Friday nights) and it's been SO much fun every time! The drinks tend to be a bit expensive, but the music is great and the crowd is also really good; it's usually packed too, but the space is large. I keep coming back here because it's an awesome place to just let loose and dance the night away and have fun with friends. There are also couches all around to sit on when you get tired from all the dancing. The dress code isn't that strict for girls, but guys always have to look their best. Doors open at 10pm, but you should get there early because the line gets really long. I don't know why all of these other people are complaining about it because I have never had a problem with Hiro and neither have any of my friends. Some people may feel that the cover is pricey ($20), but my advice: get on a guest list, people!
Hrio is a ripoff and owned by CROOKS.
I had a birthday party here the other week, purchased bottle service and I can tell you that this place MAJORLY SUCKS for 5 big reasons:
1.) last minute they decided to change the reservation from the Grand Ballroom to the ghetto greenhouse room by the door
2.) they wouldn't allow us to bring one dinky cake (bday party) despite planning to spend close to a grand
3.) they specifically told me it would be free for ladies before midnight and when my guests got there b/n 11:30 PM and midnight, they pull the oh, we changed it to 11:30, sorry, gotta pay cover
4.) the space is very large and only has 2 bathroom stalls--RIDICULOUS and honestly, a little BARBARIC
5.) I don't know if it was just the night we went (Saturday night) or that particular DJ but the music was terrible--DJ couldn't spin and the music was too low. I personally can't stand loud music but the volume of the music was way low.
In short, the owners are crooks here. You're MUCH BETTER off going to a near-by place that doesn't lie and make last minute cover changes and provides enough stalls for drinking customers.
Charged my credit card more than 3x my bill!!!!!. I used my credit card at the bar after waiting forever for every drink. I checked my credit card statement and they literally charged more than 3x my bill! I've heard of them doing this to other people too. I can't believe they would pull something like that. I'm never going back except to talk to a manager
