More Kyoto than Tokyo, this Japanese-themed room fills up with edgy beauties and rockers. Paper lanterns of many sizes, shapes and colors cast a dim, sexy glow across the high and round-ceilinged room, with the aid of votive candles and red string lights. Embroidered satin banquettes line the perimeter, providing good stadium-style sightlines for stage shows, and VIPs congregate in the balcony lounge, where nooks are sanctioned off with rice paper screens.

Charged my credit card more than 3x my bill!!!!!

by HiroIsTheWorst at Citysearch

I used my credit card at the bar after waiting forever for every drink. I checked my credit card statement and they literally charged more than 3x my bill! I've heard of them doing this to other people too. I can't believe they would pull something like that. I'm never going back except to talk to a manager

  • Pros: Ok music, pretty girls
  • Cons: Crowded, waitstaff, bouncers, expensive, bad setup

decent, decor hasnt changed in over a year

by daniellekeeps at Citysearch

I like hiro, but its usually pretty crowded, i guess a lot of other people like it as well. expect to pay premium nyc prices for drink ~12 for a mixed drink

its a bit hard to get the drinks as well, but i usually tip $2-3 on the first drink or 2 until the bartender remembers me and then usually i get expedited service.

try it out its hard to be opinionated about a night club, some nights can go well others can go horribly wrong with fights and such

  • Pros: large area with a lot of people
  • Cons: a little crowded, expensive bottle service

Too Expensive

by HLee82 at Citysearch

The neighborhood is nice and the place looks nice from the outside, but once you get in, you notice how the bouncers let so many people in that the place can hardly accommodate. The price list is too much for what you get. Bouncers are obnoxious, just as obnoxious as staff once you get indoors! That's the last thing you need when you go to a club!

  • Pros: Atmosphere, Food Place Next Door
  • Cons: Space overpacked, All Asians, Obnoxious Bouncers/staff
