When the Room is Too Small to Run a Business- Turn Around!. NYComputers is really "WERECOVERDATA", but you don't know that until you walk into their small 10 x 10 office with one desk, two chairs and a paper sign. There is a secretary at the desk who tells you to fill out personal information on a desktop. You sit right across from her, but this is not a date.

The secretary asked me what was I seeking to recover from my laptop. I told her I was there to get it fixed. The response was "$75.00 for diagnostic, there is another price for the service, but we will have to find out. " After typing in a few words, another lady pops her head out from behind a door - seemingly appearing to be exciting of a new catch. I really did not feel comfortable going further; I didn't get any positive vibe that I would even be satisfied with a $75 diagnostic.

I left; but called Dell...."Support.Dell" now they were GREAT, but that is another story!

Awesome Service, Decent Prices. Toshiba p15. excellent laptop but sucky ac adapter. Toshiba fixed it once. CompUSA took 2 months and did NOT fix it (NEVER buy anything from compusa!) + lost my original adapter. Gave it to chips and techs (39th and 6th), worked for a week then back to square one... and they took 10 business days.

These guys took 2 business days standard to diagnose the issue, replaced the old part and charged 2 hours labor @ 85 and hour. Also suggested ways to handle the ac adapter for future use. They give 30 days guarantee.

I would go again!

Not so great. I was not impressed with either the service or the price. I would not recommend using them to repair your computer.

Very Recommended, Very Fast Laptop Repair in NYC.. Very close to any subway and train, this quick and efficient service is really rare!

Dell wanted me to send them the laptop charge me $350 and wait for 3 weeks.

NY computers repaired the laptop at the same day and charge me $95.

i will highly recommend!

Super Fast Service!. Those guys are great!!

I had a laptop problem, i called Dell they wanted me to send them thier laptop, they said it will take 2 weeks!! and about $300!! for a keyboard problem.

I found this great place NY-Computers.com - it was very closed to me in midtown manhattan.

i came and they fixed the problem i had in couple of hours with a very reasonable price..

i will definitely recommend!
