Really comfortable shoes. For people who walk a lot, SAS shoes are a real treat. I was at an airport taking off and putting on and a fellow business traveler said to me "those shoes look really comfortable". Well, they are. American made and very, very comfortable, and not too heavy. I have two pair of loafers, one in black and one in brown, as I go in and out of airports a lot and it is better than tying laces.

One thing to warn you about, they may not look too stylish and one or two lady friends have commented that the shoes are not that stylish. However, they are verrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrry comfortable on long walks, and the shoes are lighter than some other brands such as Bass, which feel like they have weights in the shoes.

Positive:

very light and extremely comfortable for walking long distances.

Modest price.

American made.

Negative:

may not be too stylish (or so my lady friends tell me)

Coach rope belts make a great matching accessory, I got one in brown and one in black, they match the shoes perfectly.

My black shoes have had two resolings, i may be reaching some theoretical limit here. Need to get some more inserts as I wear them out rapidly and unfortunately cannot mail order.
